Agree with all the other comments here. I never usually go out of my way to comment on videos but thank you so much for an informative and BS-free video.
This video should be benchmark for other videos that talk about destinations and parks for the one simple fact that at the beginning of each segment a map is shown clearly showing the location in a well known scope. We all know how frustrating it is to watch a video about a far off places and can only imagine what region the place is in. That is the norm rather than the exception. A bad example that comes to mind is the audiobook "The Gulag Archipelago". It's one of the greatest and most important books ever written, but it would have been so much more satisfying seeing the places shown on the map just like this video. Also thanks for not dragging things out. Simple direct without any nauseating "icing on the cake, crap, much-a-do any nothing" personality finesssing clever repartee. A Great video that's sufficiently informative, with great camera work about something wonderful and wondrous. I'm punching the subscribe button without checking any of your other content. I never do that. I would have sat through two quick ads for this. Peace
"it is an outdoor enthusiast's dream destination" perfect way to describe this magical place on earth 🍀 I used to live for almost one year in El Calafate, and each and every time the nature was enchanting me!
It is such a special place. Bri and I bought a van on Halloween 2019 in Santiago and spent 3 months road tripping all of Chile and Argentina. We haven't been back since, one day!
Kevin: did you rent a car to get from El Calafate to Torres? How difficult was it to bring the car across the border? I assume an SUV IS IN ORDER? Any advice is appreciated.
Hey Kevin, I’m planning to go over to Chile/Argentina during December. I want to get to Balmaceda from Santiago to then drive to the Caves. Then go back to Balmaceda to then drive to Perito Moreno. Did you have any problems crossing from Chile to Argentina to get to Perito Moreno?
Patagonia is a very special and rugged place, with no big cities or metropolis near it. This adds to the appeal for us, but definitely Alpine Lakes area and the Cascades can compete as far as views go

#1- Get eaten by a White face giant. #2- Get eaten by a smaller back woods type of giant. #3-Get eaten by a White face giant while swimming. #4-Get eaten by the giants monster wolf dog before the giant gets to eat you. #5- Die from falling off a cliff while running away from White face giants. is this real-life?
I contemplated that the entire time I was in Patagonia! Beautiful place
Frankly… looks like alpine lakes area near Seattle seems pretty comparable to the first destination

@@KevinEassa remoteness… hats the whole point, right?). Box to check sometime in life
