Just a word of advice, to corner trap the meleer it works different than almost all the other monsters you actually have to stand one square extra north of the north pillar (the square east of the north pillar bat safespot). You can stand on other tiles as well but the normal diagonal safespot squares wont work. Glad to see you starting your inferno journey btw, you got this glgl!
Goodluck! Can’t stress enough how important those tiles to run on are, as they basicly trap almost every monster, giving you time to solve the wave. Ps, 2 tick flick is more difficult than 1 tick alternate, since the blob+ either range or mage can still be on a cycle where 2 tick alternate doesn’t work.
Depends on what you're more comfortable with. 2 tick flicking worked for me, and I used it after already learning to 1 tick alternate. 1 tick alternating is fine but it restricts movement, while 2 ticking is a little harder to learn but very useful since it gives you time to do anything you need to. Also the argument that blob can be off ticked is not necessarily correct, since after the first cycle it will get back into cycle and you'll be completely protected. (So it's not a good idea to 2 tick on low hp since you will tank the first hit)
@@arcreign for 2 tick flicking the blobs don't go always go into cycle. For example, tick 1 scans the blob and you have mage pray. tick 2-3 you pray range, tick 4-1 you pray mage again. You will get hit by every blob hit.

you can use sound and visual metronome, that helped me a lot and no shame in using them

I just learned that from some clan mates! They recommended for a first cape to do 1 tick alternating so I’m definitely going to stick with that
