I lost my dog of 8 years to cancer last month he was my first dog I've raised on my own. I had him thru the craziest time of my life. 19 to 30. He was my best friend and my whole world. Nature is the purest thing we know of in this world. It is dangerous, sure, but the beauty it holds is unparalleled by anything any human could ever fathom. Have you ever been to the Atacama Desert in Chile, or Big Bend Park in Texas, on a clear night and seen the stars? The most beautiful sight on this green earth that holds everything we need to survive. If you truly can’t see the beauty in nature, there’s nothing I can do to convince you otherwise, but I will say that I’m sorry.
You were taken too soon. But in the years that you were here, and the years that I knew you, I could tell that you treasured all of it. You emitted nothing but pure kindness and light. I hope we meet again someday. I'll never forget you. I hope you remember me.
Their music is magical, it truly is there's something about it that makes me feel so happy and makes everything positive in my negative life and their music truly is astounding

Her loss has been tremendously difficult for me. When I listen to this song it feels like there is a warm blanket being rapped around me. Like I'm not alone in this grief. My sister truly was my protector and my bestfriend.

For me it is all in the lyrics and the music is ethereal and floats it all out there. I think this is the Grateful Dead of Indy Rock. The careful sounds and lyrics echoes in my mind and get caught up in there..... somehow..... forever!
Discovered this band when seeing Alt-J one night in Boston. Lord Huron was opening for them, and although I missed their set, when walking to the theater I heard their incredible sound from out in the parking lot. I'm upset I missed their set, but so happy that I was able to hear just the last bit of this song which led to me looking them up later that night.
The only other artist I’ve come across who does it as well or better is Sleeping At Last. Go check them out, especially his entire “Solar System Series,” which is 11 songs named Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, and also “Snow,” “Life,” “Uneven Odds...” you know what just listen to everything he’s got like a hundred and fifty songs or something crazy like that and they’re all good.
the more i listen to these lovely guys the better it gets.Come to New Zealand ,Your souls will soar and produce more of this wonderful music.It is music for the world!
I had taken a stray cat, that lived in my garden for over a year, I took him for last month as he was poorly, even though my own cats weren't happy. I took him to vet as he wasn't eating and wasn't well and he put him to sleep. Makes me so sad thinking about it and this song always reminds me of him 💔💔💔

This album is a story, our main character progressively becomes more and more lonesome with each song. In the first song the finishing overture is a lot lower in pitch signaling that our character is truly unhappy. Each song after is in a slightly higher key up until the last song that ends the same way as the first, this time in a higher key signaling that our main character is now truly happy. Hence the name lonesome dreams
