Hey, a tip for falling, never put your hands out if it's a gap or a big or fast trick. For little ones, don't be afraid to go faster yet here I am cause I can't get rolling Ollie's down or else I would kg done 3 stairs and a big stair gap. But good work so far!
@@fransk8s819 I've been riding almost every day for the last months, but the weather is turning bad now. So that will stop. And I didn't really focus on doing tricks. I realised that the joy of riding is the essential part that I like the most about it :)
@@amestasiaa Still struggling with the weather... But whenever the conditions are well enough and I have the time, I go out riding :) I have definitely improved over time!
I like how it shows the practice with other people in the park in-between each take, and the day gets later, and then there's no one around except for you lol persistent
How long have you been skating? Get comfortable with your Board. If you still scared get some safety gear :). You just have to fall a bunch of time to realize that it isn't that bad. (Most of the times :D). The thing is, commit and think about landing the trick. It's a common issue with dropping in on a quarter pipe. People get scared and lean back (that what's you body naturally trys to do) and than they fall. However fear isn't bad, you just have to use it for yourself to push the boundaries. As you can see in the video she does it step by step. Ollie flat, Ollie rolling, Ollie down a Curb, Ollie down a little Stair, Ollie down a big stair set. As more as you practice doing one step, you will be getting comfortable with it.
I’m trying to get an Ollie but yesterday I fell on my hip really hard and I didn’t want to do it anymore because I was to scared then I saw this and got inspired
for me it was keeping my weight in the center of the board, kicking the tail down and then bringing the back foot up really fast, and then kicking my front foot out. Also record yourself and analyze what you are doing wrong.
@@rXHrzn bro stairs are for teenagers or people trying to actually go am or pro, literally no one is skating stairs for fun, skateboarding isn't always about being the most gnarly
They say you live through the eyes of your child. When I watch your videos I remember my beginnings too and that "yeah, got it! Now do it again" mentality. Keep it up!
Your videos are so motivating to start skateboarding! Keep going like that! Actually bought a skateboard bacause of your 1 jear progression video😊. Hyped to learn it too!
Your first 1 year progression video was in my recommended and I just got obsessed with skateboarding and have been watching lots of videos and decided to buy my first board and cant wait till it arrives.
Wow, these videos that you keep posting make me to truly inspired to learn skateboarding I just don’t know how to describe it! You are so talented and good at it! ❤️ I’m learning about the ollies and my biggest one has probably been only a 3 centimeter one of that! 😂 but the problem is that my board is too old but you told me about the Jart skateboards earlier and it is comming in the mail so when that gets here I will be super in depth with it! My biggest accomplishment is going down a 2 inch sidewalk but it’s a start! 😂 anyways keep it up! 💕
The most common mistake that I see is not snapping the tail down hard and quickly against the ground. That is what gets you up in the air. I hope that you don't mind but I'm gonna paste my comment I left on this video somewhere here for you 😊 You need to snap your back foot down harder and snappier for good pop. Move your front foot back from the front bolts gradually as you practice to get more height. You must lift your back foot up high towards the peak of your Ollie. If you don't it will rob height from your Ollie. By the way, I do skate. I hope that helps a little bit. Feel free to ask for help/advice👍😁 Keep skating!! 👏👏👏
I got recommended your first video "Girl Skate Progression 1 year" like twice already, but the second time I finally watched the whole video. I find your videos really motivating and helping. I hope I can learn some tricks finally :D

Good job! But one bit of advice is that if you put your front foot more back like almost the middle of the board then it’ll make it a lot easier for your foot to slide which will give you a higher ollie.
I'm proud of you girl! I am a girl myself and I started to skate in the end of july. I've most been skating in skateparks, I really need to get my flat tricks like ollie and shove it without my skater trainers 🛹

0:43 "Finally understanding how to ollie higher"
What was that for you ? Trying to do the same...
I heard a good trick to get higher is to really get down low and bend your knees
lift ur back foot a little bit higher, so once you flick, the tail will go up higher
Lift your back foot when you pop and don't let it touch the ground
Tryo to Ollie over Something even if it doesnt work your ollie will improve
for me it was keeping my weight in the center of the board, kicking the tail down and then bringing the back foot up really fast, and then kicking my front foot out. Also record yourself and analyze what you are doing wrong.
