- I decided to fix a late 70's Browning Stalker 2 compound bow. Using a string from 3Rivers Archery, and some parts from Norris Archery, I brought it back from the dead. Slow-Motion Archery shots included. Vintage compound bow. Old compound bow. Enjoy, like & Subscribe.

I just found a browning deluxe nomad at the goodwill for $20.Wood looks good no cracks.String might could be reserved, probably new one would be in order.Love these vintage bows.Take care good hunting.

I love the wood compound look, id keep it classic....Refinish anything that needs a polish, and keep her stock.

I just got my grampas old one. Just like this. String looks okay but I don't want to pull it back and it snap. Is it hard to pull in general or?
It's more hard to hold than pull. Instead of 85 pecent its probably 40. If the string looks ok it might be. Wax it good. All the same it might be worth your time to order a new string. Thanks for watching. I'M gonna try and shoot a deer with it! Don't forget to subscribe!
