I've felt encouraged watching this because i've been trying to downsize my collection so that I only have pops I genuinely really want so it's nice to see I'm not the only one
I feel attacked when you started talking about first time collectors and how they just buy stuff because that’s exactly what I did 😂 I pretty much bought whatever I thought looked cool but almost 2 years later I was like “I really didn’t need these”
We all had that moment so don't feel attacked. I started collecting in 2005 and now close to 500 pops I find myself going through them and feeling what was I doing 😅. But anyways welcome to being a true collector
@@mkpops8766 Thanks! And don’t really feel attacked, I just found it funny how recently I was thinking about it and now he mentions it in his video. I’m a little over 200 currently, and will probably wrap up around mid 300s, to make things easier I’ve made up of list of what characters from my favorite anime and other stuff I’d want and just check them off as they release (if they do) some I’m hesitant to get with all the fakes but hopefully I can find legit ones for those eventually.

Bro I’m going through the same thing, so what got me into collecting was watch mystery Funko unboxing (ik big mistake) so I would just be random mystery boxes of random pops I didn’t even like, so I ended up with like 80 unwanted pops, so I moved in April, so I donated the 80 and that left me with just my mha collection, few Harry Potter pops. But what I’ve recently realize with the new wave of mha that dropped in like august, I don’t need EVERY mha, so I’ve decide to only collect atleast one of every character, instead of every pop. That gave me room for me to start my black clover and Hunter and early 2000 cartoon shows collection.

i really enjoy watching downsizing videos bec. it inspires me to downsize my collection as well. I like knowing about your thought process about it too. My collection is just 77 pops overall but it's still a lot and i only have room for a handful more haha I need to downsize bec. there are some other funko pops i'm looking forward to purchase instead.

I recently got rid of most of my Dragon Ball Pop collection except for the new Goku and Krillin 2-Pack,ever since Super Hero I’ve been really conflicted with the series and the Daima announcement was what made me quit the series entirely since I realized I was never going to enjoy a new DB project anymore so,what’s the point.

i’ve been recently collecting dragon ball and the comic cover pops but the ones i’ve been wanting are getting expensive like js for ssg goku he’s nearly 200😭
QOTD: i recently got rid of my kid buu. and replaced with the new buu with ghost. DBZ is an overwhelming line if your a completionist, so i just get 1 version of the characters i like.... except goku vegeta and frieza! i want um ALL!! lol
