I really appreciate this and wish I had this information a few weeks back before I released my short video. Its ok, but I think Minimax would have nailed the production! Keep updating us as new versions come out!
Hi, thanks for this, very helpfull. Can I ask a few questions? - Did you use 1.5 or 1.0 model for the king examples in the video? - In the earlier examples with more complex shots, did you make use of Kling object movement arrows (and static object)? Thanks
Thank you. I used the 1.5 model, 5 seconds, professional mode, and default values for the other settings for all of the Kling videos except for the zombie and lip sync video - I used 1.0 for those. I didn't use the motion brush for any of the videos.
can you plz explain how to continue to further shots with same scene, consistent character, and camera moves when we are creating a movie? because all the view gets changed for next shot, and sometimes character as well. Every expert on youtube is showing just 1 shot.
Unfortunately, that is one of the limitations of ai video generators right now. The maximum length of Minimax's videos is 5 or 6 seconds. You could try converting the last frame of the video to a png or jpg, then use that as the image to create the next video, then put it all together in a video editor, but it's not guaranteed to be seamless. You can try other generators, I think Runway can produce up to 40 second videos, and Kling 3 minutes, but you'll have to extend the video many times. As far as consistent characters, be specific in your character description, but this isn't guaranteed to produce 100% consistency across videos or images.
@@aiconcoction thanks dear, am already trying that idea of last frame. It's goin good so far. If u can help me with some expert prompts for the script i wrote and making an AI movie, indeed will be a great help as mentor. many thanks
I’ve bought the unlimited subscription of Minimax but unfortunately it just creates videos without applying any settings like character etc. I also wanna create consistent character to make a movie but I think that’s possible with Runway as I’ve seen enough films of Runway and they r great!
@@AI.FusionCreations thanks, i tried runway to generate a scene with pan cameras but it gets distorted. its no more free, so make videos on other free and newly launched AI. I believe there are better AI than Hailuo. I have juiced it out as much as i can while it was free, now looking for another free AI but its still not perfect and does not worth 99 subscription, max 10 usd for unlimited they should offer i believe as per their capability of AI generation
@@aiconcoction yea the videos are good but can't be used officially. There are 10% time it generates everything realistic but not always. However photo to video feature I appreciate much on hailuoai
I actually like minimax and I think it's one of best AI video generators out right now, at least of the ones I've tried, I just wouldn't pay that much. It's not perfect, and I think its text to video is good. It needs to offer more options, like the ability to create longer videos, motion brush, higher quality, different aspect ratios, etc.. Hopefully with more competition, the prices of these video generators will go down.
Absolutely, purely economically looking at it, there is no sense in paying more than 40$ per month for unlimited access as you could buy and run a local solution for five years otherwise. It would be less money than a 2 or 3 years maximum plan for 100 a month. They dont seem to realize the true value of their works by ignoring their price dependency on hardware and energy prices. They over value themselves probably because of the current gold digger hype concerning to become the first mf of whatever on AI. They also dont seem to realize the dimensions of requirements a private person needs to get provided for a single film project, which should take a month of time and approximately a 1000 successful generations. That's private business dimension. It should come for free. Semi-professionals most probably need to produce a project within a week, so we re talking 5000 successful generations per month. And the real professionals are in the daily business. So we talk about 30.000 generations. And where are we now? 100 generations per month for free - which is nothing, really nothing. And about 300 generations for 10$ a month. And we need to consider 1/3 of all generations to be worthless unsuccessful crap. So and everything above 40$ a month rather goes into a local solution investment with uncensored unlimited access and custom trained models. I just dont get it, how they come to these insane assumtions. For 10$ or 15$ per month unlimited and quick accesss - that would be fine with most former free plan users, I think. But what the ... with the current pricing Im out and won't rely my future works on Hailuo.
@@aiconcoction Yes, concerning quality they are the best, but not perfect and sometimes in rare cases even worse than runway or kling ... but the progress won't stop at this level. they soon will be over taken by another player just because of their greed. runway ml probably feels the outcome of its greedy pricing policy. Hailuo didn't learn from Runway, didn't realize their value depending on hardware and energy prices, didn't learn from their own past (I discovered an old iOS App from them from a long time ago before they retried the currently ended total free plan. Somehow they don't seem to have a realistic expectation and over value their pixel artist display entertainment product no-one can make a fortune out of. We are their stupid drones and shall even pay more than an own AI machine would cost. So their quality isn't available for most of us which makes it value zero. Zero quality because no quantity or because the related expenses.
Yeah, finally my ass. Finally they are not free anymore but greedy as hell, not providing European standard payment options and just unusable under free plan. So finally they became just as usual as runway, kling and all others. And all of them don't realize their price range limits as people rather buy their local machines and run them for 5 years for less money than a two years running professional plan ... which logically necessarily leads to a maximum price range of 40$ per month. Everything above just doesn't make any sense, but censored and unreliable dependency for a small amount of saved time for setting up a local solution. Finally game over. That's what is final for sure.
Actually, "It's finally here" refers to the image to video tool, not the paid subscriptions. I understand your frustration, but I think we all knew it wasn't going to be free and unlimited forever.

Can you provide the list for prompts you gave for camera movements if possible
I might pin them in a comment or add them to the video description.
With Minimax, being able to buy credits for making an occasional video is useful, rather than having to buy a long term plan.
Very true!
when will Minimax launch its new feature of lip sync?
I don't know, I haven't seen that announcement.
