DO NOT SET Prefer Maximum Performance in GLOBAL Nvidia CC Settings. It just wastes power, creates heat and burns out your GPU thermal paste. Instead set Prefer Maximum Performance in the CS2 Application Settings page. That way your GPU will boost up and remain at the boost clock when playing CS2 ensuring Maximum performance. This isn't 2010 anymore people that the base clock is some 100 MHz lower than the boost clock and the GPU is running at full speed as is.

I’m running an i5 11400H, RTX 3050, and 8GB of RAM. Another tweak that worked for me was manually disabling CPU cores 0 and 1 in the Task Manager, which resulted in an FPS increase from 199.4 to 210. I also tried using Process Lasso to automate this, but it didn’t yield any additional FPS boost, so I reverted to manual adjustments in the task manager every time I open cs2.

I have an i7 12700 cpu and 3080 graphic card. My avg is around 250 fps, but I think I should have more right ? Cause sometimes it drops below 240 sometimes goes higher than 300, and when it drops below 240 you can notice the stuttering, do you think these stepes will help me ?
That's not exactly how it works. For real, you have to launch cs2, open the console and write this command "sys_into", then you need to scroll a bit above until you find next string: Engine thread pool: "your value" thread(s) After that close cs2 and you got to increase this value to 1 in the launch options. Then run cs2, write the same command and find the string. If the value hasn't increased, close the game and increase the value again to 1. Do it until you have value increased to 1 in the string. In my case, I have i5-12600kf and my initial engine thread pool was equal to 9. I increased that number to 11 and I got 10 engine threads.

Bro I got an ryzen 5 7600X and RX 7800xt 32Gb ram and its fucking lagging as shit getting 140 fps inconsistent as fuck, cant play this shit game with that framerate
@@KGR_r i have r5 5600 with 6700xt with 16 gigs of ram, average around 340 to 410 depenging on the map. On low settings im bottlenecked by my cpu so it doesnt matter if i use native 1080p or low res 4:3 so my gpu is not working that much and im slowed down by my cpu a lot. There is something wrong with your PC or some settings and i dont think its because of the optimization, you can see benchmarks with you cpu and gpu getting a lot more fps even on older drivers and when cs2 was less stable

Do you recomend win 10 for more perfomance? I have a ryzen 5600X, RTX 3080 and 16 gb ram. My gameplay is not fluid.

guys if u're looking for a new cpu, take the ryzen 7800x3d. this is the, at the moment, best option for high fps in cs2.

I've Ryzen 7 7800x3d and 32GB RAM with RTX 4060 Ti and fell the game laggy its not smooth my fps can't reach 400 Its game problem

No way, I have a pretty avg. PC and I still get enough FPS to play on 240Hz.
