What I like most about this show is we see more of the Jedi from the films who were background characters.

Star Wars fun fact #66: Admiral Wulff Yularen first appeared onscreen as one of the imperial officers present during the famous meeting on the Death Star where Darth Vader famously choked Admiral Motti because of his disturbing lack of faith.
After the proclamation of the Empire he resigned from the navy and joined the ranks of the Imperial Security Bureau as a colonel, a tenure during which he had Alxsander Kallus as a student and especially became one of the early allies of Thrawn during his rise in the ranks of the Imperial Navy.
Star Wars fun fact #99: in another parallel with our world, the entire stealth ship sequence draws its inspiration from submarine warfare in the Second World War: submarines were narrow and long ships lightly armed but equipped and designed for fast and precise attacks on big ships. They even used the famous and iconic "ping" of the submarine sonars used to detect objects and targets.
Why do you think the republic officers got chance to transfer to the galactic army while the clones were replaced by stormtroopers? (aside from their short lifespan.)

That's a very good question:
First, using enlisted troopers was less costly than creating clones, the Empire needed all the ressources it can get to finance the Death Star construction.
Second, having enlisted troopers also means more loyalty from the citizens of the different planets by getting them involved directly in the Empire.
And third, the Empire was very distrustful of the kaminoans because they were the only ones that had the knowledge of the cloning science, which may be a leverage they could use against the Empire to further their own personal agenda.

@@Futuresabrina that would've been a lesser problem because the Empire could've inherited all the access to the orders embedded in those chips, but the risk of those codes being manipulated by the kaminoans is serious.

Have you seen the entire show back then or have you skipped any arcs? Have you also seen it in chronological order then or is this you first time? Also, which of the other Star Wars shows have you seen at this point and are you familiar with the Old Republic stuff? There are also some Star Wars related fan films and animations I can recommend watching if you haven't already.
I've seen The whole show without skipping any episodes, but I watched it by release order; The movie, then season 1 episode 1 ...
I have seen Rebels and The Mandalorian. I haven't started watching The Book of Boba Fett. Dying to know anything about it, but seriously don't tell me, I want to be surprised.
As for Fan films, I've seen a bunch, don't remember the titles though, but definitely the Darth Maul one, and the last Padawan were my favorites.
The only knowledge I have of the old republic is from KOTOR which I started playing recently.

If you didn't know yet: Disney took over Star Wars in 2014 and cancelled this show after its 5th season. The show's creators were able to release the remaining episodes, which they managed to animate completely, on Netflix, so these episodes became CW season 6. That's also the reason why season 6 only has 13 episodes and not 20 or more, because they were cancelled mid-production. Dave and his team finished 12 out of the (about) 52 unfinished Clone Wars episodes in season 7, but there still exist (around) 40 unfinished episodes or (in other words) 10 unfinished arcs to this day. The scripts of all of the 52 episodes were already finished, as far as I know. You can look up these amazing stories which we still could have gotten, which would have played out before the finale of season 7. I really hope that they maybe are going to release and finish more or all of the 10 arcs/ 40 unfinished CW episodes in the future. We would have seen on screen what happened to Maul with Sidious and Ventress after season 5 or more specifically after this arc, not just in comic or book form (like the Maul "Son of Dathomir" comic and Ventress "Dark Disciple" book, which both were formerly supposed to be arcs in this show before they got cancelled). We would have even seen a very short encounter between Sidious and Ahsoka in one of them. Maybe one day Disney will eventually decide to finish and release them. At least I hope so. Sadly, Disney also cancelled a lot of interesting sounding Star Wars games at the time of their takeover.
When I watched this show for the first time in 2020 and I didn't know it was not finished, but I was lucky enough to watch the 7th season right away. It's a shame that the already scripted arcs weren't a part of the season. But I think their animatics are still on TH-cam.
@@Futuresabrina Only some ot them got to the animatics stage I think. I saw only animatics for the Cad Bane vs Boba arc, the Dark Disciple arc, the original Bad Batch arc, the Bad Batch arc on Kashyyyk and the Utapau arc, if I remember correctly.

This show becomes amazing in the later seasons just gotta let you know incase you were put of by the bad quality and basically everything in season 1.

Also, have you seen the old and shorter 2003 Clone Wars yet? I think it would be interesting for you to see the differences between the 2003 and 2008 Clone Wars shows.

Sorry, I binged everything in quarantine, except for TROS. I watched it in theaters which I totally regret.

Went obi wan said kissing it was bc anakin kept walking he was gonna hit the ship with his face not so hard to understand that 🙃 & stop disrespecting general skywalker , in the clone wars anakin had more wins than losses in the clone wars and was the hero of the republic. Clone may look the same but they all have their own personality
