Black Spider tbh. Top jobs go to the people who go to the best uni's however, if you complete your degree then it doesn't matter about the pay and not everyone will enjoy the top job. Plus, you get a lot of money anyway
I dont really know what you mean. The point about top jobs go to the people who go to the best uni's is probably correct. I aint run across a trainee medic or a qualified medic who knows anyone who completed their med degree in those countries. "If you complete your degree it doesnt matter about pay" Thats just incorrect. By the time you've completed med school, you're gonna be in a decent amount of debt. Its just the way of life. Unless you've got rich parents lol. But, once you've completed your degree and you're doing whatever, pay does matter. You're a surgeon for example. You work 18 hours a day on some days and you're paid 25k a year. Is that enough to mediate the constant stress? I wouldnt say so. "plus you get a lot of money" The money in medicine shouldnt even be a factor before doing medical school. Theres so much degrees especially in engineering that pay as much if not more per hour and are flexible with much less stress.
It really depends on the university you go to as opposed to the country going to any top 500 universities in the world is ideal if you want to study medicine. Countries like south africa, isreal, Estonia have highly ranked universities according to the qs and the Times higher education with top health care systems which is pivotal when training as a medical student.
University rankings mean nothing in the UK when it comes to medicine. All med school in UK have their course accredited by the GMC. Schools outside the UK which are GMC approved will give you probably the same career prospects. Is it because they are GMC approved, maybe, or is it because of the massive supply shortfall, maybe.
Plovdiv is officially the oldest city in Europe (older than Rome or Athens), and you should definitely explore the Old Town while you're there. I wish you every success in your studies!
medicine is medicine. where ever you go! you will still be using wikipedia to look up the conditions!!!
Those of us in 6thform rn are led to believe that doing it in these countrys is the cheap way into medicine/dent.
