  • Hello everyone, coming on here to show you guys how to install the turbo powerhobby fans for 1/8 and 1/5 scale motors. It is a really easy and simple to install (except for mine lol) there basically plug and play. They are really strong from what I can hear and see. I would have loved to go test them today, but I couldn't do to my driveshaft and some other stuff.

Are the fans blowing away from the heat sink or blowing towards the heat sink?

Will I have to grind metal off the fins if I’m installing this on a Mojave?

@@rcbuildingbashing1221 also, on the Mojave I have 2 spare ports, battery and auxiliary. Which one does the fans plug into?

@@rcbuildingbashing1221 ok thanks. Hopefully it won't hurt anything if I mix up the plus and minus at first

@@rcbuildingbashing1221thanks, they seem to work great so far. If I remove the center diff along with both driveshafts is it normal for both wheels on each axle to move freely and completely independent of the other?

@@rcbuildingbashing1221 thanks but I think I’ll use the standard 100k/500k/100k combo at least to start out with. It’s what arrma recommends and my local hobby shop backed them up. I see all these forums with wide ranges of preferred diff fluid weights but I trust the engineers who made it much more. I already feel a good bit of resistance by hand with 500k in the center
