Two years late, and with ewheels current pricing on the commander at $2500.. after driving myself crazy indecisively choosing a different wheel every night to be my next wheel out of all the latest greats..Over the Lynx for myself.. I'm now thinking about grabbing two of these. (And High Speeds at that!) One for me and one for my brother!

Excellent review as always waiting for part two, I have ordered the Commander HS; the HT bleeps far too early for my liking with the weight this wheel is more of a long distance cruiser wheel where high speed is a must... i failed to notice the extra weight when riding the Commander HT demo wheel, telling the wheel is well balanced as long as the wheel can do 45mph without bleeps i am happy.

Why it bends to one side?! Indent remember that the commander is unbalanced internally the last one that was like that was the Begode exn that I also review. I think is just a question of experience and how you put your feet on the wheel

The problem began when I started changing the tire pressure and now when I try to ride fast I feel like the wheel is leaning me on the left side more. I thought maybe there might be a loose bolt but I'm not sure. I do weight 104kg
@kmoore7236 check if the screws next to your pedals are in place the worst case and saying your weight I may think your inner shell is broken next to the pedals in one of the sides (it happen to me with the kingsong 16x
First ! Great first part, that's an interesting take on the Commander, different to what others had to say about it. It still looks like a decent improvement over older begode wheels, that's a step in the right direction. Better plastics, sort of better build quality, and a good trolley, but according to all the disassembly videos, still not enough safety precautions with the battery (which is still not communicating at all with the motherboard). Let's hope they keep going the way they have been with this one and the hero, it's not enough but it's going in the right direction. I think most of the issues you talked about with carving and your PSI is mostly due to the CST tire they use, which is known to have weird gaps in the thread. If you swapped it to the knobby Kenda tire (which is mostly better in every way than the CST, but takes up more space and is more expensive) that the Sherman uses, it would probably feel very similar in term of ride feel. Personally not interested at all in the commander, I'm looking forward to the sherman max a lot more, but it's good that there's competition in that type of long range wheel in a small-ish package. It encourages everyone to build better products, and can only be good for us, the consummer !
Thank you for once again be here to support my work. Related to what you say I agree with you. Related to the tire not a big fan of the lenda since they run out faster and they get damage faster. Like I said in the video I don’t have this issue on my v11 with a CST tire simply love it. Related to riding I prefer in a certain way the riding of this one compared to the Sherman since the Sherman when curving gets really heavy and drops faster to the side a sensation that I didn’t like it so much on the Sherman. We will have to see how feels the new MAX with more 4kg than the first gen.. hope that you are well and happy to see you around :)
For your size & weight, I can definitely understand why the ht isn't for you as I too would choose the hs. With the big 3600wh batt & the strong motor, someone your size will not likely overpower the wheel in almost any situation & the extra torque is not needed as the Commander isn't the wheel for serious offroad either. However someone 250lbs & up may feel differently. I also agree that GW is amusing ridiculous & brilliant all at the sametime. The ergonomics can be so much better & its so easy to do but they just fail at the easy stuff. Eg the H666 (or equivalent) woulda been a much better tire choice & would improve its handling. The speakers at the very back makes no sense! They can easily put in the GW honeycomb peds but they stupidly designed new ones for nothing! They just fail miserably on easy but on the most difficult... the performance, they do it brilliantly. That's what I feel about my EXNs & soon to arrive RSt. Love how they ride & like how easy it is to open up for maintenance but dislike everything else. O well if its any other way, it won't be GW.
I believe the h666 is discontinued but yes was an amazing tire. Beside that what you said makes a lot of sense anyway the ht rides ina very hard way making it unconfortable after few miles and no options really to put in medium mode since is simply horrible. I hope they can get better but for that they have to be more disconnected to the Chinese culture and start hearing us more… and that’s my friend is really hard for them to do. They are very reluctant for changes I can confirm that. Thank you to always be here for me bro
I’m actually interested about the Commander but the plastic of the shell doesn’t seem sturdy, and spending so much money on a wheel that will break with the first fall… not good. Didn’t know about the position of the speakers. It’s like they added them at the last minute because they forgot them 🤦🏻♂️ The design is awesome, really like it. Waiting for the 2nd video and another good job on the is one. Thanks bro 😎

Awsome video as allways bro, it seems to be a nice wheel but the lack of lights front and rear is a problem for me, they should put the speakers in the front sides i think it would be the best option, and the heating is also a big problem to ride in Portugal. Lets see if they improve something
@@MADpack a month later with 600miles on it and im just astounded of the quality and sheer power it has among others ive ridden and ive ridden them all , being in the pdx fnr rides is among the largest next to LAEsk8 so i get to touch alot of new toys 😉
like I said was really impressed with the experience I took out of this wheel.. took me a while to like it but after 1 month I really enjoy to have it at my place almost leaving my house after more than 1 month here. Sunday picking up 2 Heros
Yeah bro, this wheel was never on my list. I'm not understanding how most of these new wheels all have a cruising speed of 45 mph.. at least that's what ewheels advertises. Anyway, I will be sticking with inmotion for now. Besides the Abrams & V13, I haven't seen any other wheel that I would consider. KS-20 possibly but idk... Definitely not the Sherman Knock Off.

I have the commander hs and i notice with a 30psi my wheel leans to much on one side. What's the best way to fix that?

I thought the HT was for larger heavier riders and or hard core trails with hills. They might should be compared in that regard.

I've heard that the new veteran sherman max has weaker rims which breaks easily.
That was a reality on the original Sherman I’m not sure about this one
