Thank you so much you saved my account !
@Mordechai Misael no problem :D
I own this system. First, if you think this system will give comparable sound to a set of regular headphones- FORGET IT! The 215's have proved a great disappointment! In fact the sound is not as good as a regular floor monitor. I have tried all of the tips provided and the sound quality leaves much to be desired! Many reviews have commented on the excellent bass found in the 215's. I don't know what they are comparing them too, (perhaps cheap earbuds) but for me the sound is not good for a system that cost me $800.00! Setup is easy, and the quality of the components is first rate. BUT, battery life is a joke! Using 2AA batteries, Shure claims 5+ hours of usage. MY EXPERIENCE IS MORE LIKE 2.5 HOURS- and and that is with brand new Duracell or Energizer batteries!! So, if your a musician playing 4 sets, you better bring 6 batteries to be safe! The Lithium Ion costs $118.00 (ouch) and Shure shows 7+ hours of usage BUT you will have to buy a Shure charger as the battery is a special design! Assuming, the battery life is a bit less in the real world- you will probably need 2 Lithium Ion to be safe and carry a charger! So that option would cost you $300.00 for Lithium Ion, if you want to be safe- OUCH AGAIN! I might try higher quality earphones, perhaps 400 or 500 series, but that will cost an additional 4-500 bucks- OUCH AGAIN! I haven't given up on the system yet- BUT I am extremely disappointed with battery life and sound quality.
Reg mason232 I own the same system, and I have to say, the included se-215's aren't that bad. I also have some custom molded ultimate ears and of course, they sound better. More drivers, custom fit etc. You get what you pay for. You want better sound, go get some custom in ears
I have PSM900 and PSM300 systems as well as the Sennenheiser G3 systems in my rental pool. In both of my ear racks I have installed a 16 AA and 2 9V rechargeable battery system available on Amazon for about $60. The better quality earbuds will save you battery life no matter what system you have.
@@PMG28 comparing your 3 wireless systems, which one you think is the bang for the buck? Thanks
like most anything, you get what you pay for. The PSM300 is a good intermediate IEM system, but just remember, its only going to sound as good as its signal source. Mic quality, Mixer quality, IEM quality, etc. make a tremendous difference in sound quality as well as analog to digital mixers. On a budget, the PSM300 system works well for the money.
Boldi, you did the Worst unboxing ever.
