Exactly, I can remember as a very young man cruising in my Competition Orange, Black Rally Striped 1967 Chevelle Super Sport 396 with my friends down to the river bank, to build a bonfire, drink a little Beer and talk to all the beautiful woman and seeing who had the best stereo system and just jam these classic’s and of course smoke a little good weed and the night was Perfect. These kids today have no clue what fun is, what good music is, great friends, and it was cool because we loved our country, we flew our Flag and we didn’t need much more to make us happy. I remembered music made life fun, good friends made life great, I miss those tunes of the past and it was the music that formed our lives for sure and it wasn’t even violent, with a lot vaguer language to cover for up for the lack of talent lol. Yes Those were the days, we had nothing but we had it all because we had great friends, great music and an even greater Country we loved and respect enough that I enlisted in the United States Marine where I served 32 great years. Yes music has made my life fun.

All these musicians are Awesome! Very enjoyable! But I can't help myself. Cannot take my eyes off of Pina Del Re!!! Totally blown away by Pina Del Re's stage personality and character! So pleasing to the eyes!! Exhilarating to the ears!!
I must have listed to this song a thousand times as a kid, and when you tune in to a cover of it you are waiting for the nuances that the original tune delivers. The HSCC always seem to nail those nuances as well as the song detail...it elevates the listening pleasure and gives credence to the original but the cover sounds as good if not better when enhanced by the HSCC arrangements. Just amazing!!
Ahhhh the memories. Taking me back to my 1st 'puppy love!' We 'stole away' many a nights with this playing on my Pioneer underdash cassette player! (plus listening to sooo many of these other tunes that HSCC is playing!!!!) Now married 32 years (in 2 weeks) and turning 60 in 4 weeks - I sometimes catch myself wondering how my 1st love turned out! But it ends at a wonder. My soulmate is here with me now and always will be and nothing could make me want to give up what I have now - for then!

Beautiful version of one of my favorites! I love how they change the venue from song to song. Instead of every song they post being performed in a windowless room that looks like my old bedsit that smelt of socks, stale beer and fish and chips, they film in public venues in a pleasant setting, with mood lighting and a bit of a stage. It makes a huge difference to the pleasure of viewing these old masterpieces that they recreate so faithfully!
I ❤️ this fresh version of Steal Away. Can you imagine if a customer walked into a music store and they walked right into the midst of HSCC performing music live instead of the typically recorded music on the speakers. I might not ever leave the store if I walked into HSCC performing their hits. They might have to carry me out of the store! Ha! Ha! Sing away HSCC, Sing away.
