In this latest instalment I am ditching my usual race car theme and doing a road car based on a battered and bruised Matchbox Porsche I had as a kid from 1978. Normal race car duties will resume shortly 😊

It takes a while for the 4K to render on TH-cam..... Approximately 2 hours after the upload!
My dad as a kid had a reliant robot with a tow hitch don’t know if it was matchbox though
With the windscreens I had a pink plym cuda and it had yellow windows
frogmanvc well when you figure a really good way to replicate them you should tell him it’s really complicated to get stuff make make the small pieces and yes I understand what you mean that it’s wrong but I’d like to see you do it better
a reason i don't upload in 4K and you also need a 4K screen to watch it or the image vibrates =)
You probably dont give a damn but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account??

I would love to see you do the 928. I really loved that design and the 944 when I was younger. I like the color you chose. The silver accents really pop like the chrome did on these and other 70's and 80's cars. Keep up the great work.

This 'magic powder' thing you're using,.. forget it, just buy a box of baking soda. Does the same thing, much cheaper. Apply supper glue, drop a tea spoon of baking soda on it, and then shake excess off. Let dry, sand and shape.
I am totally ar peace with that colour. Anything else may have detracted from all that superb detailing 🖒🖒🖒
Got a bit worried when you said you'd do a restoration and not the regular custom work, but it turned out really good. It's your custom work that makes the models stand out from the rest of the bunch.

Brilliant job on the Porsche! I'm not sure if I like the colour, but it is period correct. I love all the extra detail work you did, it really sets the model off and yes the wheels do look like period Fuchs wheels. Looking forward to your next build.

Chris, SUPER job as always and detailed to perfection. Green with saddle leather is a great Porsche combination. Please do a race car next in this line or a Dakar rally car.

Top effort as always, mate.
Your level of talent, eye for details and production quality really sets you apart from the rest of the diecast modellers on TH-cam.
I think that the next Porsche you look at should be the 944, an absolute iconic 80s machine. It could look really smart in a 'stealth' type colour scheme, like a matte black/dark grey and a really subtle body kit to flair the wheel arches a little.
I'm sure you've got a load of other videos in the works, but I think I can speak for a lot of us when I say that we would love to see a good 30 minute video of your workspace and collection!

With Squadron green putty, i find it's best to apply it direct from the tube and 'smear' it on before pressing it down and basic shaping- saves it 'going off' quite so quick, and getting it stuck to your fingers!
