This may be silly but are fortune cookies bad too?

Most of this stuff is not just bad, but silly and obviously worthless as well. That’s probably why it’s so closely associated with the Devil. He not only talks us into eating that apple, but then he fails to deliver on the godlike wisdom it was supposed to give. I mean, fortune cookies don’t even have good quotes on them most of the time.

    Moving on to the gospel:
Only Jesus Christ lived a life worthy of Heaven. Substituting our sinful life for his is the only way to enter Heaven.
    1.
We attempt to present our own righteousness to God the father on Judgment Day?
    2.
Jesus has kindly offered to give us his righteousness as a free gift making us perfect and impeccable in the sight of his father. Ensuring a smooth transition on Judgement Day.
    (Choose this option.)
The text for today will be Romans chapter 3 verses 10 through 18.

How many lies have you told in your life?
Have you ever taken anything that didn't belong to you?
Have you ever used God's holy name to curse, would you do that with your mother's name?
How many times have you gazed with lustful intent at someone or entertained lustful desire towards them?
Jesus offers mercy to those who will acknowledge their need for it. Heaven.
The alternative is taking our just punishment. Hell.

      Romans 3:10-18 ESV -
10 as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; 11 no one understands; no one seeks for God. 12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” 13 “Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.” “The venom of asps is under their lips.” 14 “Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness.” 15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood; 16 in their paths are ruin and misery, 17 and the way of peace they have not known.” 18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
