that wobble at the end IS something that happens IRL, its called "Speed wobble" or "Death wobble", the only non-realistic thing here, is how it randomly flips while turning.
@@AI-Idiot I recognized that! Pretty neat actually. The weightless flipping without balance physics is like a nightmare where you can't ride a bike anymore. Boy the world would be a sad place without 2 wheeled fun.
@@idfk6245 on a real bike you can make very tiny inputs at high speed like you should. in a video game even with a controller the smallest inputs you can make are considerably higher so hence the speed wobbles and falling over.
It’s true! I’m an ADV rider and this is true. You roll the bike by pushing the bar on the side you want to turn. Once it rolls you allow the bar to settle into the turn. (YES. If you want to turn right you rotate the bars left at first)
I bet a 125 or 300cc would be a lot easier since it looks like it's just pure physics simulation without any of the "damping" that other games have to make bikes usable
Most motorcycles in sims made for cars forget to add gyro physics, a force that keeps the motorcycle upright at speeds over 5mph, and dampens death wobble at speeds under 150mph. That said, this bike was significantly more functional than the AC motorcycles. It also doesn't help that this game doesn't support clutch RPM adjustments (high rpm low speed) that affect the gyro without affecting speed...
Gyro doesn't keep the bike upright until much much faster then 5mph. The reason bikes stay up so easily is due to the angle of the front forks, aka : rake. This angling of the forks means that the front tire will self-correct itself when the bike leans or the surface isn't flat.
This is actually very realistic, and shows just how much of an achievement learning to ride a motorcycle or bicycle actually is. In order to not fall over your center of gravity must remain over your rather small tire contact patch. If you start to tilt you either need to move your body to correct it or "steer the bike back under you". When trying to ride around a corner you must use countersteering. Say you want to do a right turn, you'd first steer your bike a little to the left, to initiate a lean to the right. Then you'd quickly steer right just enough to maintain that angle. And at the end of the corner you need to either accelerate or steer a bit more to the right to get back into an upright position. It's incredible to imagine how we subconsciously do this every time we ride a bike
Got videos of it driving on my channel, first bike to be this drivable without cheating afaik and I put a lot of work into making it like that. Low speed feet-down mode,
I have a question: every time i download a mod they either start the download or send me to "modsfire" i got a virus in my phone by modsfire and do i have to keep retrying till i start or click "report for misuse"
@@baotaku i know how i can determine if its safe, i use avg antivirus and while downloading an airplane it said its scanned by antivirus and safe to download. That download worked so from now on ill pick those thats scanned and safe
My favorite part of the video and any game in general is when everything works. I wouldn't call as far as asking for perfection but making something at least functional is a must. Then again, we are talking about BeamNG, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well, a Motorcycle COULD be made with custom lua and 4 wheels. Something loke a bike with training wheels, but those wheels couls be hydraulically operated with the steering input. The faster it goes, the less it steers the wheel, and leans more to make turns.
never tried a motorcycle, but sure modland is not a good place for quality mods. they are often broken and dont get uptaded when they need to..most of the times they are also stolen mods and dont support the hard work of the creators who put months of work into making them..
If you are using a pc, then it wont work and you'll oversteer. If so, please invest in a wheel setup, or in the very least, a controller. Hope you found this helpful.
Sir, I believe you have not been told one detail about modding beamng, that one detail is that you NEVER... EVER... get or use mods from any other site than BeamNG's forums or repository, you'll thank me later.
yet they make you pay to use them from the mod creators, mod community? think again... it's a modding marketplace now, apparently we don't want beamng to be as versatile as gmods community
Something tells me motorbikes don't work good in beamng
It's because there is no balance physic for the driver to turn well
This video did
No, they would just be hard to drive…
The outlaw bike mod is really good
The game actually features gyroscopic percussion so I don’t know why any mod developer has not used it for motorcycles yet …
the reason why its so hard to ride at first is because of the kickstand, it automatically goes back up after about 10mph or so
I'm so glad motorcycles don't work like this irl

yes speed wobble does happen in real life. its absolutely terrifying.
If we ıgnore the fact that it can't corner, I think it is just fine
the steering physics are surprisingly accurate tho. except for the random flipping
not really, if you were on a real bike you wouldnt fall over at a high enough speed when turning, yet this just doesnt matter
@@idfk6245 on a real bike you can make very tiny inputs at high speed like you should. in a video game even with a controller the smallest inputs you can make are considerably higher so hence the speed wobbles and falling over.
You gotta turn right to turn left when you first start picking up speed and then you can steer regularly fyi

It's automatic IRL while almost impossible to do consciously in game
@@GewelReal yep, would require an entire steering mode coded just for bikes. not an easy task either.
@@baotaku It's the same on bicycles. You just don't notice it cause you do it automatically. It's also a much smaller movement

right vyt gyro is actually in the game idk why they dont add it into the motorcycle
@@watarodI think it's because of the mod being from modland (a place known for bad mods) and if I'm not mistaken that's a really old mod

I've always wondered why content creators never feature motorcycles in their beamng videos. I had no idea they were so broken 😅
there's no way to controll the bike correctly
