I am in hell ..I believe the mental health system has basically used me as their geunie pig...they poly drugged me since 1996....I cold Turkyed off AD and started slowly tapering 10 mg zyprexa in Oct 2017, dropped to 7.5, 5mg than 2.5.g...now on 1.25mg...but I no longer sleep...haven't for basically years now...I just rest...very tired...but body just rests...brain does not sleep...they use sleep deprivation on prisoners of war....this is my government who has done this to me...they do not prescribe sleep tablets...I cannot work...only able to contribute to society by picking up rubbish..
Zyprexa withdrawal is the worst thing that has ever happened to me period. Everyday I wanted to die. The anxiety was unbearable, I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep and felt an overall dreadfull feeling of doom and despair I had never felt in my life.Thankfully I am now better and tapering by 10 percent a month. Horrible medication perscribed by doctors so easily yet none of them know how to taper you off and when you call them in the midsts on withdrawal caused by their rapid taper all they can say is "the medication can't be causing this".
I just came off cold turkey and just want to FEEL again, I don’t feel sad or happy, imagination has no more color, and memory is extremely foggy, do you know how long it’s going to be like this?
@@adriann3561 I don't know. Both times I went off cold turkey I had to go back on it cus the withdrawals were too unbearable but even after going back on the pill, they took months to resolve. I would always advice against cold turkey but it does seem to work for some people. I'd say if you start to feel any withdrawal symptoms to go back on it and start a slow taper. I know the desire to get off of it quickly is big but sometimes slow and steady wins the race. Did you have those feelings while you were taking it or did you get them only after quitting it?
@@adriann3561I took 1 pill like 4 days ago and I lost my girlfriend cause she said we didn’t have a spark 😂 if I wasn’t sedated right now i would be pissed off or crying
I would highly recommend regular breathwork (Wim Hof breathing or the physiological sigh from Huberman for example), some meditation (I like the Isha Kriya on the Sadhguru app, but do your research). Doing Aum meditations are also super beneficial psychologically & physiologically. I'm currently on olanzapine at 15 mg, but I can tell that the best thing for my system is the regular maintenance/meditation rituals
Yup! Tapering off of clozapine here I can attest to being afraid of getting dementia. Used to be on 175mg i believe, now im down to 37.5 mg. So im on the last stretch, hasnt been easy, but so thankful for this video telling me its suppose to be harder on a lower amount! Look forward to to longer needing it!
I’m planning on becoming a pmhnp (residency takes too long) While I can’t prescribe meds I can still recommend them to people & I do. For whatever reason they are taking zyprexa, I would try to find an alternative that is less sedating. 50-100mg of seroquel probably wouldnt be too much of a drag. I would prescribe 50-75mg hydroxyzine in combination with 5mg zyprexa for insomnia, but, they dont want to take it anymore, so they better find something else
Yo whats up nick 1 CONGRATS ON x2 ur sub!!! 2 what "other things" could we do to boost immunity… u mentioned 'so many other things' other than vax… would u pls give list of ALL or make vid on pls?
Get a 0.000g accuracy digital scale and taper by no more than 10% of your last dose per month. You calculate based on the LAST DOSE not the initial one, very important. You are on a very low dose. It shouldn't take too long.
Odd you should recommend this at a time when a few days prior to your comment I had been thinking about becoming a PMHNP! Trying to figure out where I'd fit into this giant mess of healthcare if I were to get it/what I would do given my stance/philosophy. We shall see. . . :)

@pollynlyubenova8365 where do you get these scales? I've found some but they are very expensive
@jessicavanoverbeke6668 I just quit cold turkey and I'm fine. Been off for like 5 months.
No point in tapering if it's poison imo

What we need to know is are there any over the counter drugs that can help with withdrawal?
Nothing can help just go through it , it sucks but it will go away
