- Headed to Hamilton Ontario for a day of train chasing. Visited CN Stuart Street yard, CN Bayview Junction and Burlington West. Managed to catch some CN, VIA and GO Transit. I tried some new locations and they look better on Google than on the ground. A long CN 148 was the last train and the battery died before the end of it. Hope you see something you like and thanks for looking.
Great video liked 👍🚄🚄

GECX Demonstrator was leading CN 422
Another excellent video, but looks a little chilly!
Sun was out so not too bad.
@@railpast we have been having heat advisories in central Illinois, where i live, that dusting of snow up there sure looked refreshing, compared to what we have been getting. Your videos are awesome/excellent!, very informative as well! My son-in-law is an engineer on CN's Iowa division (formerly IC), have you done any videos there??
Great photos of Stuart. Your zoom in from the High Level Bridge was incredible. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for looking.
I never seen a Amtrak in Canada before
There are three that run into Canada everyday. One goes to Montreal, this one TO to NY and one from Seattle to Vancouver.
Yeah I seen 422 in Niagara Falls on my run to the states from work. That is actually a fairly short one for 422 these days. Normally has much more IM and 3 units or more. I think 421 already went through early that morning and usually has the mid train dpu with the U.S. bound IM.
It was only 75 cars when I saw it.
@@railpast Looked like 422 didn't work Hamilton as I recall it's consist but that is normal these days. 330 331 always seem to work it 421 422 on the odd occasion but mainly Aldershot.
GMTX and CN units might be 550 if you saw it in the morning. Local Job out of Aldershot that services in Hamilton along the Grimsby Sub. I saw the same lash up tonight but as 551.
Those gondolas were on the first train in the video. I arrived just as the train did and went to fire up the camera but had the battery in my pocket to keep it warm. By the time I had it installed they were by me so just grabbed a sitll as they approached and used it. So they must run 3 jobs out of Hamilton as two were working in the yard with different power.
Cp 7014 back trip to Canada from CA was yesterday on oil cp train
Missed it.
