Very cool! We found a picture of the time of Capitol Street during that time but couldn't see any sign of the saloon. I may have to peruse the MyWVHome site and look more. That is such a cool piece of Charleston history. I am unaware if any others exist. Thanks for the visit!
Isaac and Chad you guys are putting out such great content! Great scenery, awesome history and epic finds! Love those MERCS!!!! We love digging tokens and old keys too! Keep up the great work guys!
Thanks MMMD! Always great to hear from you. Mercs are some of the coolest looking coin eras for sure. I'm always happy to see them too and they sound so clean as well. Thanks for the visit y'all!
Dang one slip and you're rolling to the river! See you found some gold but shame that gold buzzes. Awesome place and finds guys, never would've dreamed Chad would find that Mason badge, way to go! God Bless you all! (Glen). WV.
It is indeed a steep hill but loaded with good signals. Not much garbage at all surprisingly. The more I researched that badge, the Jr Mechanics weren't affiliated with the masons, or were they? It was a strange secret society with minimal information available.
I was actually gonna comment anyhow, even before Chad had suggested it. Your all's vid's are really getting a LOT smoother, there is a fluidity there I think. I lost an old closed reel to a monster fish at the mouth of Blue Creek when I was about 15 (62 now) Darn thing snatched the pole right out of the pole holder, Ha! Keep up the good work.....
Thank you much! I have put a lot of time into trying to make the smoother and interesting for the viewers. That can be difficult sometimes. I have a new computer now so hopefully a new change will help. There have been some monster fish caught in the rivers lately. I think Gov Justice said there have been 6 state records just this year. Have you ever read Tale of the Elk by WER Byrne? It is about fishing the Elk in the early 1900s. I couldn't put it down when I read it.
Cool finds! I've never missed an episode. My favorite , among many, was your finding arrowheads but love the treasures you've found. I've been in the Elk River just wading, but so many of my past ancestors who lived in the area no doubt fished in it. One of my ancestors got married near Blue Creek and she and her husband rode a flatboat on the Elk to Charleston. I have no idea why there were kids on the boat but there were as the story goes. Keep up the great work guys!
We are always glad to see you here! We really appreciate you taking the time to watch our videos. Chad has found more arrowheads lately too. Isaac tried with minimal success.
Interesting story about your ancestors. I know the casino on pleasant island had a port where one have a boiler that exploded where it still lies today. I'm going to try and investigate this fall/winter.
Hey steve, are you okay from the storm??? If you need anything let us know I will post something to try and help. Walkers are rare for sure. What were the dates on yours? My first one was wore blank.
Very nice finds- I believe the address on the tavern token 104 Capitol St is where the old Frankenburger building now stands. Thanks for sharing !

Очень классное видео ❤
Thank you very much!
Another interesting video. A multiple silver day along with cool relics. Those Green River tokens are circa 1930s, those are cool to find.
Thanks Steve! How many have you found of those tokens so far?

Great finds today. Jealous of the Mercury dimes you always find.
