  • See Jason's surgery with Dr. Thomas Bierstedt. He had 7-days private hospital room recovery, and then 7-days at Medicos Aufschalke - Europe’s largest rehab centre. Jason received 2-Level Disc Replacement using the 3rd Generation LP-ESP Implant from France. This is his story.

This seems amazing. However, reading "selling their house and downsizing" seemingly to pay for the surgery make me think that this is awfully expensive. How come this is so expensive? and how expensive is it, actually?

Hi Gerald, there are variations in each implant, such as footprint sizing, anchoring, lordotic angulation and rigidness, and the specialists match the optimal implant to each patient case. The final decision can and often comes down to intra-operative testing. Best regards, Team SC

@@SpineConnection Thx ... what happens if lordotic angulation changes after the implant, which can happen with exercise and strengthening/weakening of front vs back muscles, abs, hip flexors, glutes etc?
