      thats great jeff, i was abit overwhelmed too, just because the thought of the gas and having to splice the wires, but definitely go for it bro, especially if you know your car's fuel pump has never been changed, you will notice a slight increase in fuel economy, trust me it helps, and you know you can always hit me up bro!

      @@nupnuema9769 try checking your alternator, it might be dead and not charging, so your battery is doing all the heavy lifting....O'reilys or autozone can do a battery and alternator test if i'm not misteken, i hope this helps bro.

    Hey man, great video. So I was reading on the Z1 page that these 255s require to drill out the syphon on the pump to a larger size to maintain the stock fuel pressure. Did you do this?

    I was debating whether to buy this pump for my 350z and am surprised at the required modifications. I assumed it was plug and play, but I guess this pump is utilized for other applications. On the Z1 website, they indicated it was a "Similar" OEM fitment. O'Reillys is having a storewide sale rn, so I think I'm gonna buy a complete replacement through them. Thanks for the info! 🤙🏻

    Hey man, how's the driving and idle after if you didn't do the swirl valve and regulator porting out to larger diameter

    I did the same to mine, but I had hard times fitting the fuel pump in as it is longer now and hence I had to press it to place the fuel pump ring. However, today I filled in full tank and realized the gas was still sipping through. Did you shave off any parts of the pump to fit it well?

    Do you have to get a tune did after?

    • @StayDrivenMedia
      @StayDrivenMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No you don’t, but you do have to do abit of fabrication for the walbro fuel pump to work with your stock fuel pump Assembly, I would honestly just get a deatschwerks fuel pump, it’s plug and pay

    Why not just unplug the battery instead of pulling the fuse?

    • @StayDrivenMedia
      @StayDrivenMedia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      because just plugging the battery out doesnt release the fuel pump pressure, pulling the fuse out still allows the car to turn over but cycles the car to still release the pressure.

    What are the benefits of this unless you are turbocharged?

      On a car that’s almost 20yrs old uhh yea this will absolutely help with fuel transfer, I also noticed a big difference in fuel economy, I might be doing a video on my time driving my car after the install 🙏🏽
