I was listening up until the point where he said God spoke to him at five years old he’s no different than these Penecostal charismatics. His experience is no different than a charismatic experience and means nothing more than theirs scripture tells us that God spoke to The original fathers🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
A man exalting jesus and praying in tounges and english laid hands on me in 2006 and i hit the floor. Jesus became real to me at that time. Recieved the gift not long after that in prayer. Didnt use much after that for many years. And don't in church but in private. Getting words of wisdom and knowledge and praise and worship in rhe process
That's not what tongues are. Tongues is not a gibberish language. It was literally a real language that someone spoke without learning it. So unless there is someone around ACTUALLY hearing your words in their language, you weren't speaking in tongues. You were just making a mockery of our Lord.
One occasion in ministry i spoke in tounges to a man from Africa. He looked at me and his jaw dropped and said he understood every word i said. Then as he walked away looking over his shoulder. But i didnt know if he was telling the truth or not

All prophesy comes from the Word of God. There are no more Prophets. The apostle Paul says whether there be tongues, it will cease. He said where there is knowledge, it has gone away. Meaning man does not have knowledge knowledge comes from God. 1 Corinthians 3:18 says, “ let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seem to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. And verse 19 for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, he take the wires in their own craftiness.”
Tongues have ceased. No more tongues ..book of revelation is closed. There is no more this gift ..the period for that purpose is over ..speak english now

Your biggest evidence that speaking in tongues in church is false is the fact that everyone thinks they can speak in tongues and even the pastors who are led the wrong way tell everyone they can speak in tongues. When the Bible said to do it in order and decent. The Bible also says that not all speak in tongues, but the Holy Spirit gives gifts to who he pleases. Some people have different gifts. So speaking in tongues is not for everyone. Especially when you have so many people in church for nonbelievers and never been born again To receive the Holy Spirit.

My dear brother , this is how l understand this issue : remember that all the gifts given by God are for ministry unto His people. God gives certain gifts to people in order to be used to help His people so the verse you are referring to is NOT meant to be a compliment . God does not need a special gift for you to minister to Him but His people ie the church does. So if you speak in a language men, to who your message should be directed, cannot understand, whatever mysteries God would like to reveal to the congregation stays unknown. Think of it this way...why would God, who understands all mysteries drop a mystery into the spirit of a christian, only for him to repeat the mystery back to God without anybody, not the congregation nor the speaker himself understanding it? If God reveals a mystery, it is for the understanding and edification of the whole church. Luke 8:10 indicates that to us believers he has give the power to understand the mysteries of the Kingdom, so mysteries are revealed for the edification of the church. Furthermore Paul insists that all gifts of the Spirit must be exercised in love which simply means you have to seek the benefit and well being of my neigbor before my own. All gifts must be used SELFLESSLY . So if l use a gift for my own edification, it is a selfish and wrong use of the gift and throughout the book of corinthians Paul argues very strongly against that. Try to follow the stream of Paul's argument in the letters to the corinthians and dont just stay on ISOLATED VERSES and you will quickly notice what he is driving at. Notice that if you only use isolated verses you can make the Bible say whatever you want it to say!! Study chapters NOT verses. Tongues will cease, knowledge shall vanish away, and prophecies shall fail. That’s paraphrased from 1 Corinthians 13:8. How about you give me proof you speak in tongues and the church’e interpretation of the prophecy you spoke. Tongues is prophecy. The Bible explain we don’t need prophecy anymore, that’s why we don’t have Prophets anymore. Knowledge is not given to man do the voice of God anymore, and speaking in tongues is not used anymore. All the prophecy and knowledge that’s given, and the warnings that are given two man it’s not needed as it was in the Bible, because the word was made perfect in the word prophesies, and the word is knowledge.
