Coldplay made a huge tribute for Soda Stereo a few weeks ago with Charly (drums) and Zeta (bass) of Soda Stereo in two of their ten shows in Argentina. Also they played De Música Ligera almost every night and they did it too in 2017. By far, Soda Stereo is the best latin american band and Gustavo Cerati (vocals and guitar) had a very solid solo career that you should listen too. You should react to Persiana Americana, Corazón Delator, De Música Ligera or Signos... idk, they have a lot of good songs. They are part of my life so I could go on without no stop this list hahahaha
i would say really that Soda Stereo is one of the best band of the world, not just L American. I love british pop and music, and listen many music, and Soda is way beyond many of them

Yaaass... Soda!!! As Argentinian I'm so glad you like Argentinian music ❤😌. I recommend you to check "Zona de promesas" by Mercedes Sosa ft Gustavo Cerati (Soda vocalist). Mercedes was one of the most important exponent of folclore music ( Traditional Argentinian music) this is a very beautifull song. You also should check "Sueño Dorado" by Abel Pintos and the band Ciro y los Persas. They are very good Argentinian musicians. Greetings from 🇦🇷😊 Ps: Soda was a band which started in last 80's early 90's. In the most recent years Gustavo did a solo carreer and made songs like "Crimen" and "Puente"
Fan..tastic reaction !!! Welcome to the Soda Stereo world !! A one way journey, I guarantee !! Each song anyone can recommend to you, is awesome!! No disappointment. Keep reacting to them. Although is considered the best LA band ever, you can also find other quality good rock musicians in Argentina. Best regards!
One song you 100% HAVE to listen to is "Genesis" from their MTV unplugged special, it is one of their best songs and it honestly gives me chills everytime i hear it
In the 90's I made a tape for a dear friend of mine from England, filled with argentinian artists. I choose this song representing Soda Stereo and it was his favourite from the tape. This song is amazing and opened the doors for them in the rest of Latin America I am so glad you love it! If I may, I would recomend: Los Tipitos: Campanas en la Noche Gustavo Cerati: Crimen and also Cactus Divididos: Ala Delta Charly García: Los Dinosaurios
The cultural impact of this Argentinian band in Latin America was such, that Cirque Du Soleil made a show called “Sep7imo Dia” to honor the legacy of that generation. I feel lucky I saw them live a week before Gustavo Cerati’s death❤. His solo career is also phenomenal. Thanks for your reaction.
If Gustavo had been born in the UK, Soda Stereo would have been one of the best bands in the world. Indeed it was, but without having that massive reach like Oasis or Rolling Stones
Its not a matter of where he was born, its a matter of language. If Soda made songs in english (no, those translated dont really count), they would have had a bigger reach. Its a simple matter of how big is your market.
My favorite song by this man is "Crimen", but if you are looking for other hidden artists I think you should start with "Mon Laferte". You will love her voice, so expressive and with such an incredible vocal quality. "Los Jaivas" and "Bloque Depresivo" are my favorites, but I think you will prefer Mon Laferte. On the other hand, it would be interesting for you to check out "The Hu" (they play Mongolian folk metal).
Soda Stereo me eriza el corazon! Great reaction, I love your excitement here!
Indeed my good friend, this argentinian band was the best South American band ever, and their name was Soda Stereo . The frontman´s name was Gustavo Ceratti Clarke, and unfortunelly he passed away back in 2014 (RIP), but his music is still so alive. Soda Stereo was such a sucssess in it´s time. Were many mega bands back in the 80´s and 90´s in South América (Paralamas , in Brazil; Caifanes, in Mexico; or Prisioneros, in Chile) but Soda Stereo, was our very first South American rockstars. Greetings from Chile.
Soda started around the 80's so they have had a lot of different looks. They looked like leathered clad emos at one point and like a hair rock band at some other point.
Another great Argentenian rock band that I LOVE is "Enanitos Verdes". "Lamento Boliviano" and "El extraño con pelo largo" are probably my two fav songs fron them Btw...Ciudad de la Furia is a freakibg masterpiece!
Hello G.O.T! And tnanks for you REACTION.
Thank you for your Soda Stereo reactions, they are spectacular! I had the pleasure of seeing Gustavo Cerati live in my country, Uruguay, with his solo work and the effect is the same, goosebumps, like here!!! all the time🙏
I'm so glad you loved Gustavo's voice, he was such an amazing singer. Soda is my fav band ever so I'm really happy to hear you say so many nice things about it! Thanks for reacting to Argentinian rock, it has sooo much good bands and singers (Charly García, Fito Páez, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Pedro Aznar, Ataque 77, Divididos, Baglietto and so so many more) 🇦🇷💗
The Argentinian audience passion has brought tears to many artists... Coldplay, Bon Jovi..... we FEEL IT , WE DANCE, WE REJOICE.... WE LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!
men, if you start to react to argentinean music, I promise it's gonna open your mind to a new music dimension, and a different kind of crowds too. Please keep reacting, thanks!
Cancion animal from Soda Stereo is an album that will blow your mind. Very few bands have a way of superseding their previous number one song each time they release an album... and that what Soda Stereo knew how to do very well and that is why each song from any album is an epic song. Loved your reaction, welcome to Rock in Spanish... there are countless many others Spanish Rock bands influenced by Soda Stereo that are just amazing in their own right. I hope you get to experience and love Spanish Rock as much as I do and as much as the world does. Keep on Rockin'
I would love for you to react to "No existes" from the "Me veras volver" tour. Conmparing any band with Phil Collins is a great compliment. One of the most iconic musicians in the world and is also very loved by many people in Argentina
If you're curious to know a little more of our country, at least musically speaking, I reaaaaally recommend you to watch the "Best Crowd Ever - El Mejor Publico del Mundo" video, is a very long video that shows a lot of bands, lives, interviews, about how the bands react to our people, our shows, our crowds. We, in latin america, are known around the world as the best crowds a band can wish. Brasil, Chile, Peru, Mexico, and a LOT more countries make the bands feel sometimes even better than their own homes, but Argentina, for the bands, almost as an unanimous opinion, they literally say we have The *Best* Crowd in the whole world. Why? We could say we exude passion about practically anything we love, everything is a party and we get fucking insane showing it. Another thing that adds to this, is the fact that, along with Chile, we are the farthest country for the entire world, (Argentina has literally a place known as "The End of the World", Ushuaia) and the bands don't come here very often, so when they do, we show them how is to have (in word of bands just like Megadeth, AC/DC, Metallica, Guns n' Roses or Rolling Stones) The Best Crowd Ever.
Im Marina from Argentina. Im glad you like Soda Stereo!! Your reactions are amazing! Lolol. THE SINGER Gustavo was an incredible human being. The mágic is in the lyrics.
This video warms my heart. I was raised listening to Soda Stereo as my sister is a big fan. We don’t like the same music but when Soda Stereo plays on my playlist we jam together and now I am the one introducing their music to her children! I hope one day you react to music from Chile too (that’s where I’m from) 😊
You have listen to "Corazon Delator" live (Gira Me Verás Volver - Buenos Aires) Really Good!. And, if you want something different...Genesis - MTV Unplagged Soda Stereo.
what a beautiful music, what a great artist, wow what a crowd i think they are an amazing country. i wish i could be there... I would like to be there sometime in my life in that great country...well saludos desde Corrientes, argentina
Wonderful work. I really love that you react to Soda and that you like it and show it to the world. Finally this band is getting the acknowledgement that deserves. You could hear "Heroes del silencio", from Spain. I think it's another good example of quality. It's totally '90's, so I believe you'll love it too.
"De música ligera" In Mexico we almost hate that song, almost you can listen it in a Zucaritas open box 🤡 But but but, the first time listening that song is always magic. You should listen it. The Soda Stereo Electric Unplugged is one of the best live performances ever, a MUST for your reactions 👌🏼🤟🏼
Hi Luke! I can't believe you're reacting to Soda Stereo, I love it so much! Thank you very much! We are waiting for you in Argentina! I follow you for your reactions to BTS and meeting this fills my heart.
Awesome video as always. Please react to "Persiana Americana" or "Nada Personal" from this same tour or from an 80's performance. I'm sure you'll love it!
7:24 When Gustavo says "Cantemos"(let's all sing), he opens a portal to an ocean of beautiful universes, and drags our hearts in it, its hard to explain the feeling is a mix of fury and love.. like a burning love or something lol Gracias Totales !! ("Total thankfulness", Cerati's inmortal quote) for reacting to the magic of Cerati and Soda Stereo. Ps: I'm a huge fan of the big four of Seattle (Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl jam and Soundgarden). But in 2012 I discovered Gustavo and his cósmic craft, and its been a trip without return..
Duuuuude amazing reaction!!!! Absolutely love soda stereo! You should def check out Molotov, theyre a mexican rock band and their music is pretty original, touching a lot of important themes. Nothing to do in comparision with Soda .. I recommend you to watch the full recital "Me veras volver" from 2007 to get a real dimension of what Soda was ; one of the best bands worldwide ..
@@estarbienalmacennatural9164 I mean they’re 2 different types of rock. Borh are equally great in their own ways. While Soda Stereo stays true to the traditional styles of rock, Molotov experiments by mixing in other genres to their songs. As I said, each are great but in their own ways.

You should react to Persiana Americana, Corazón Delator, De Música Ligera or Signos... idk, they have a lot of good songs. They are part of my life so I could go on without no stop this list hahahaha
I love that! I'll have to check it out 💯
i would say really that Soda Stereo is one of the best band of the world, not just L American. I love british pop and music, and listen many music, and Soda is way beyond many of them
Thank you for your reaction to Soda Stereo, I met you reacting to Dimash because I adore him but I also love Soda Stereo, thank you!!!!🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yaaass...
Greetings from 🇦🇷😊
Ps: Soda was a band which started in last 80's early 90's.
One song you 100% HAVE to listen to is "Genesis" from their MTV unplugged special, it is one of their best songs and it honestly gives me chills everytime i hear it
Amazing song.. please I want your reaction!!
Yes!! You couldn't míss!! It's a cover of a 70s progressive rock band Vox Dei, the song Is Génesis and the álbum THe Bible
I can't wait to check it out 💯💯 thank you for the recommendation!
In the 90's I made a tape for a dear friend of mine from England, filled with argentinian artists.
I choose this song representing Soda Stereo and it was his favourite from the tape.
This song is amazing and opened the doors for them in the rest of Latin America
I am so glad you love it!
If I may, I would recomend:
Los Tipitos: Campanas en la Noche
Gustavo Cerati: Crimen and also Cactus
Divididos: Ala Delta
Charly García: Los Dinosaurios
The cultural impact of this Argentinian band in Latin America was such, that Cirque Du Soleil made a show called “Sep7imo Dia” to honor the legacy of that generation. I feel lucky I saw them live a week before Gustavo Cerati’s death❤. His solo career is also phenomenal. Thanks for your reaction.
If Gustavo had been born in the UK, Soda Stereo would have been one of the best bands in the world. Indeed it was, but without having that massive reach like Oasis or Rolling Stones
He was of Irish descent so some of the British Isles was in his blood which explains something about his physical appearance and his music.
Yeah, and from italy
Thats why his last name is cerati
Its not a matter of where he was born, its a matter of language.
If Soda made songs in english (no, those translated dont really count), they would have had a bigger reach.
Its a simple matter of how big is your market.
Totalmente de acuerdoooo
De diez amigo! Te recomiendo de este concierto! Final de la caja negra! Vas a quedar NOK ! 🙋💖🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷👍
Yeah man, Soda Stereo is an international level band !!! I think it's time to react to "Musica Ligera " the same concert Gira 2007
Gustavo Cerati (the vocalist) IS AMAZING. Soda Stereo is AMAZING I’m so glad you took the time
My favorite song by this man is "Crimen", but if you are looking for other hidden artists I think you should start with "Mon Laferte".
Please more Soda! Signos, Corazón Delator, En Remolinos..
The last video I ever expected to see uploaded in your channel, but glad you did!
Greetings from South America
The argentinian crowd its the best of the universe. Always will be surprised you. It's passionate, it's insane, it's amazing with every band or singer
Another great Argentenian rock band that I LOVE is "Enanitos Verdes". "Lamento Boliviano" and "El extraño con pelo largo" are probably my two fav songs fron them
GRACIAS TOTALES!!!!!
haha de ver Gintama a escuchar Soda Stereo. Es un crack este man. Saludos.
Soda Stereo is the best band in Latin America!!
Gracias por reaccionar a Soda Stereo.
Un grupo de rock argentino impresionante. Reaccionar a NO EXISTES EN VIVO.
Un orgasmo para los oídos!literal....
I would like to be there sometime in my life in that great country...well
saludos desde Corrientes, argentina
MORE SODA!
You have to listen to Coldplay singing "De musica ligera" by Soda Stereo in that same stadium in Argentina, your mind will fly!!👏👏👏😁😁😁😁❤️❤️🇦🇷🇦🇷❤️❤️
Wonderful work. I really love that you react to Soda and that you like it and show it to the world. Finally this band is getting the acknowledgement that deserves. You could hear "Heroes del silencio", from Spain. I think it's another good example of quality. It's totally '90's, so I believe you'll love it too.
"De música ligera"
In Mexico we almost hate that song, almost you can listen it in a Zucaritas open box 🤡 But but but, the first time listening that song is always magic.
"En Remolinos" también
7:24 When Gustavo says "Cantemos"(let's all sing), he opens a portal to an ocean of beautiful universes, and drags our hearts in it, its hard to explain the feeling is a mix of fury and love.. like a burning love or something lol
Gracias Totales !!
I love you for liking this song!
We are waiting for you in Argentina to go to a concert. Passion !!!
Please react to the song "No existes", from Soda, (Gira me veras volver), grettings from Argentina!!!
Mucho amor y luz al cielo !!! GUSTAVO SIEMPRE VIVIRA EN CADA CANCION EN CADA RECUERDO DE CADA ARGENTINO !!! SALUDO DESDE ARGENTINA 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Duuuuude amazing reaction!!!! Absolutely love soda stereo! You should def check out Molotov, theyre a mexican rock band and their music is pretty original, touching a lot of important themes. If you do decide to check em out I would recommend Gimme the power and Frijolero. I would also recommend you hace translated lyrics since they talk about alot of important themes
Awesome!!!!! The best Argentine rock and roll !!!!!
