I remember really loving Bill and Laura (Susan Flannery). I hope Days continues many more years.

I was forcefully switched to Days and Another World when I married my husband in March of 81 at ages 16 and 17. For a time we lived with the in laws. But, I was hooked instantly. My new Mother in law and I connected with Days. We would discuss what was happening. She would get so upset and not watch it for a time. Because she was so involved with the characters. But, she always return. When we moved we didn’t have a tv. But, I was able to listen to it on the radio for about a year and a half. Anytime I had to be out. I turned on the radio. I miss that I am not able to do that. But I never miss a show. I usually watch it later at night when I have no interruptions. I did get to meet Brian Datillo ❤️in 96 and saw Drake from a far ❤️. What a highlight! You are like family. Thank you Ken and all of the cast. You all are well loved

The cast and production deserve so much for all the hard work they put in this past hellish year. I’m glad NBC is aware of the diverse group of viewers who watch. It’s not just your grandma’s soap opera, anymore, though those who got to see Days since it’s inception are the fortunate ones to have seen ALL of the changes that happened throughout its time on the air since 1965. I love the nods to the old Days. Take advantage of the history of Salem. And yes, though we want to believe Tom and Alice were perfect, did they not have any more family secrets to share and/or tell through heirlooms, letter, inheritances? Whatever happened to Alice’s Red Ruby? The Last Blast Crew nearly lost their lives trying to recover it in Puerto Rico for crying out loud! Lol Perhaps Belle Black has it stored away in her jewelry box, next to Caroline’s wedding dress? I guess I’ll have to stay tuned to find out:).
My mom started watching DOOL when I was 3 (I am old). She can tell you everything about DOOL, relations, storylines, etc, she knows it all. Although she now may miss an occasional episode, I tape & watch EVERY SINGLE ONE (sometimes filling her in). I LOVE DOOL! ♥️ CONGRATULATIONS all! You deserve to be on FOREVER!

Amen, to those words! Two seasons instead of one? Ken Corday REALLY did an awesome job persuading NBC/Sony, but he also made valid points. The year to year contracts just aren’t giving them the room they need to produce the show to where it used to be. His parents would certainly be proud.
I was watching 👀 days of our lives back in 1979 ... So now I'm going on 63 years old! I was 21 in the year 79 ... I love every 💓💗💕 minute of the show! I've even got my sister into it when she moved in with me almost 2 years now! We watch it together and have our lunch break love DOOL ♥

I started watching days in the mid 80s, in fact, the scene of BO rescuing HOPE from marrying Larry Welch in the church, is what got me HOOKED..Now, im 45yrs of age and still watching it...Wow, neat 2 see "Marlena" start 2 cry, guess its easy for her 2 cry on point..:)
What wonderful news! My mother and I started watching in 1965. She watched every day until she died at at the age of 104. Likewise I have been a faithful viewer all of these years. So many thanks to all for working through the Pandemic. 'Days' truly has been the family we could see when we couldn't see anyone this past year and such a blessing. I was so happy to hear this! I've watched this soap opera since I was a small child. This soap started the year I was born (1965) and as a Horton myself, has had characters over the years that were named after members of my own family. Brava to NBC for renewing DOOL for seasons 57 & 58!

I watched "Days" with my grandmother every week day until her passing in 1990. She would watch it when I was young and my sister and I knew not to bother her during her "story". When I watch it now, I feel as if she is sitting right there with me. I think she would be pleased to know this show is still around. I hope this show is still around for 56 more years. Fear Not. That’s the key word Ken mentioned in the Bible. Fear not. When the show shut down because of COVID I kept the faith the show will still go on for many years to come. And once again a renewal-no, two renewals-are upon us. Despite “repetitive” storylines of comatose people, amnesia, dead people coming back to life, babies born out of Scandal, villains taking over town, kidnappings, blackmailings, and many, many Salem weddings; this show will go on for another 50 years to come. Cheers to one of my favorite Soap Operas to date. 🥂

I have been watching Days since I was three years old so 44 years now and I can't picture not seeing the show I can remember the storyline of Julie face getting burned, Marlena twin Sister Samantha getting Strangled by Jake The Strangler and just so much more. Glad DOOL has been renewed, I have watched/taped it everyday for decades. I even used to schedule college classes around soap time, but...Head writer & other people on the team need to read the Days Of Our Lives Facebook sites to get NEW, INTERESTING,CREATIVE concepts instead of repeating plots over and over and dragging storylines on for soo long that it sounds like many DOOL watchers have lost interest...
Congratulations Days Of Our Lives on a two season renewal. Well deserved for a program I have watched since I was five years old. Thank you to Executive Producer Ken Corday and Head Writer Ron Carlivati for the two season renewal. Days Of Our Lives deserves this. And I am so glad that it was Days that was chosen out of Y&R, B&B, GH and others for a renewal of two more seasons. Everyone behind Days Of Our Lives that it is today is so brilliant. I am so proud and excited to see what's to come in the spoilers and promos and what's coming up in the next two weeks etc on Days Of Our Lives. I am looking forward to seeing it all. So again thank you for keeping Days on the air for 55 years. And hopefully in two years from now Days Of Our Lives will be renewed for more seasons. I knew sooner than later this would happen.

I love this! I don't watch Days the way I did in the 90s but my heart will always be in daytime! Although Another World will always be my favorite soap, Days was always special to me. I am grateful to NBC to keeping daytime alive! I loved seeing Bill and Susan Seaforth Hayes here! They are the heart and soul of Days to me and its greatest super couple! I hope Days continues to invest in its rich history. Soaps are all about family so I hope that's where the focus is in the next two years and hopefully beyond!

I was so happy to hear this! I've watched this soap opera since I was a small child. This soap started the year I was born (1965) and as a Horton myself, has had characters over the years that were named after members of my own family. Brava to NBC for renewing DOOL for seasons 57 & 58!

I watched "Days" with my grandmother every week day until her passing in 1990. She would watch it when I was young and my sister and I knew not to bother her during her "story". When I watch it now, I feel as if she is sitting right there with me. I think she would be pleased to know this show is still around. I hope this show is still around for 56 more years. Besides my memories, this show keeps my grandmother alive, to me. Thank you "Days Of Our Lives". Long may you last. :)
I love love love this show. My grandparents had me watching Days and drinking coffee at the age of 4. This was a ritual. My grandparents have passed on and I am now 50 years old and I still watch Days and drink my coffee Everyday it airs. Love me some Days.

When the show shut down because of COVID I kept the faith the show will still go on for many years to come. And once again a renewal-no, two renewals-are upon us.
Despite “repetitive” storylines of comatose people, amnesia, dead people coming back to life, babies born out of Scandal, villains taking over town, kidnappings, blackmailings, and many, many Salem weddings; this show will go on for another 50 years to come.

I have been watching Days since I was three years old so 44 years now and I can't picture not seeing the show I can remember the storyline of Julie face getting burned, Marlena twin Sister Samantha getting Strangled by Jake The Strangler and just so much more. I would love to visit Salem and enjoy a Bowl of the famous Clam Chowder

Glad DOOL has been renewed, I have watched/taped it everyday for decades. I even used to schedule college classes around soap time, but...Head writer & other people on the team need to read the Days Of Our Lives Facebook sites to get NEW, INTERESTING,CREATIVE concepts instead of repeating plots over and over and dragging storylines on for soo long that it sounds like many DOOL watchers have lost interest...
Except when they do things never done before in 55 -56 years they still get flak lol.
Storylines also wrap up in 3 months these days. I remember when it was 6 months to a year or more.

Congratulations Days Of Our Lives on a two season renewal. Well deserved for a program I have watched since I was five years old. Thank you to Executive Producer Ken Corday and Head Writer Ron Carlivati for the two season renewal. Days Of Our Lives deserves this. And I am so glad that it was Days that was chosen out of Y&R, B&B, GH and others for a renewal of two more seasons. Everyone behind Days Of Our Lives that it is today is so brilliant. I am so proud and excited to see what's to come in the spoilers and promos and what's coming up in the next two weeks etc on Days Of Our Lives. I am looking forward to seeing it all. So again thank you for keeping Days on the air for 55 years. And hopefully in two years from now Days Of Our Lives will be renewed for more seasons. I knew sooner than later this would happen.

I love this! I don't watch Days the way I did in the 90s but my heart will always be in daytime! Although Another World will always be my favorite soap, Days was always special to me. I am grateful to NBC to keeping daytime alive! I loved seeing Bill and Susan Seaforth Hayes here! They are the heart and soul of Days to me and its greatest super couple! I hope Days continues to invest in its rich history. Soaps are all about family so I hope that's where the focus is in the next two years and hopefully beyond!
