You need to watch a Hungarian National Team game, in the Ferenc Puskas Stadium. The Hungarian National Team is the best it's been in many years, beating big teams like England, Germany, Poland, Serbia, tieing teams like France etc, and the fans are absolutely incredible too!
This derby was far more dangerous 15-20 years ago, not to talk about the eighties and nineties. Now it's not really, police pay attention to avoid any contact between fans also outside the stadium and Ferencváros management banned a lot of ultras from visiting the stadium in the last couple of years. The atmosphere is still great even if it was better before, as well. Respect from Hungary that you came to Budapest to watch this classic one :-)

I was at a Derby game in 1988 where Ferencvaros beat Ujpest 3-0. It was insane. More toilet paper than flares and smoke though. A LOT more Ujpest fans too. Half the stadium was given to them and we were separated from them. Police with machine guns everywhere, but that was still Communist Hungary. lol
