You need to add info in the description. What burner and software do you use? Where to get prototype boards and various capacity EEPROMs? And the eraser. If you assemble the prototype boards, how do you program the bankswitching chip? Most EEPROMs require a logic inverter on the chip select line, so I imagine the bank switching chip (the skinny one on the other side) can do that, too.
thank you for this nice video I want ask you some question can I wrote on eprom by Generic Pic Microcontroller K150? and write the game which saved .BIN? and put eprom on the real atari used cartidge?
Cool video. wanted to program chips like these for years. For 1050 disk drive, and Falcon...etc Great video. EeeKitty. - off to get a burner. - Nice to see some assembly
Lins Leal Thanks! I bought the PCB from Atariage.com. I bought it several years ago, and I don't see it in the store anymore, so I guess they no longer carry them. I think some forum posters there may be selling some, though.
Haha, you are welcome! I am also into writing homebrew 2600 games (I am currently writing my first one), and even though I own a Harmony cart, I want to be able to burn EPROMs, for some reason. Call it a hobby. How exactly are you connecting the burner to your PC? I see you are using a parallel port, but most (ahem, _all_) computers these days come with no parallel port. Do you have a PCI card with a parallel output port? I would like to get a burner, but I want to make sure I know what I am doing _before_ I order everything.
My burner is pretty old - it has a parallel interface, so that's what I use. Nowadays, you can get an inexpensive burner with a USB interface. Something like this would work, for example: www.mcumall.com/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4282 Good luck!
Not usually - I've made a few one-off carts for people before. My game "Spies In The Night" for the 2600 is being released soon by NEO Games and then may be in the AtariAge store.
What scares me here is: the cat is watching. And learning.
i respect people like you
Please record videos in landscape mode.
Nope!
So that is how it works. Cool! Never thought about that.
Without being able to get prefab EPROM PCBs readily anymore, it might be a good idea to show how to hack together one from an existing mask ROM PCB.
Your cat is gorgeous
+Colonelbasic Thanks!!
Good video thanks
Where can I find the board with socket?

You need a tripod, or a GoPro attached to your head.
Yes, absolutely, but seeing the cat's great (is it a CATari?)!
Well done. Thanks.
This is awesome

I use a Harmony cart, until the game is ready for beta testing.

Respectfully, get a tripod.
What kind of eprom burner do you use
Hello! It is a Willem Universal EPROM Programmer - inexpensive, but it gets the job done.
jgwest1 thanks also do you sell games

jgwest1 what program did you use.
do you make NES games as well?
D&R Podcast Hello! I've never made an NES game, but I imagine that the process is similar.
Was the game written in 6502 assembly?
It was mostly written in Batari Basic, but I wrote some of my own assembly routines.
