I really don't know why Eubank gets so much hate, he's being himself unlike the majority that conform to what they think is acceptable by society. You guys gotta give the guy a break.
He brings it on himself....if he stuck to something like "im not as great as my dad, but i want a title shot when im worth it"...people would back him 100%.

It's funny how all the keyboard warriors trying to make fun of someone who at the very least had the balls to get in the ring, take that kind of sickening combo and still (see what I did there..), TWICE, try to get up to carry on fighting. Regardless of whether he isn't going to achieve world level status or not, he's always in the gym, always training and trying to better his craft, which is something that, lets face it, for the average human being is very difficult to maintain. Love him or hate him, he's been great for the sport of boxing and like ALL fighters, deserves some respect.
EDIT:- And to be clear I'm not talking about jokes and things in good humour I'm talking about people that are just being generally disrespectful.

@@ajvindiesel8517 no don’t buy that, all I heard from Eubank fans was how he would destroy smith, I always said smith is the better fighter, boxer and has done it regarding being a world champion at super welterweight, it was if he felt good at middleweight that would be the deciding factor, and he clearly does.
@@ramps2402 smith is better but Eubanks athleticism and bravery and speed should'v made it close, he was winning although only 3 rounds in , but he clearly had no punch resistance. I thought at the weigh in he didn't look healthy, his dad has already tried to stop him fighting at such a low weight. I personally think if he had been fit and healthy and at a good weight he would've won several rounds v smith but Smiths savvy would have got him a close points win, similar to the Saunders fight. Shame, we could have had a good fight.

Easy to say as I or anyone haven't shared a ring with Liam Smith and been pummeled by him in the corner. Credit were credit due , he tried rather than give in . . . He's got the media interested in boxing . love him or hate him . He's made a lot of money for other fighters and himself and gets more interest and attention than any negative comments on here .

His dad mustve been proud. On talksport he said jnr needed rid of Jones as his trainer. No doubt a top fighter on his day with elite mentality. But i feel Jnr felt the weight of his dads shadow on him and has similar skill level but obviously brought up as a millionaire so many scream privelege, no hunger, compare to dad etc etc, then Sebastian died suddenly mustve been hard. Can tell so much wants his dads approval staring down crowd, being a heel, going over top rope etc. Feel he should ignore ggg ans benn fight and go for a title either middle or super. Think he could avenge Saunders easily and give Canelo his hardest fight- he has fast hands, good chin, the superstar look, ring walk, feel with the right direction and team he could be undisputed supermiddle weight champion i seriously think he could stop Canelo if he is switched on. Obviously Eubank wasn't right on the night. We've seen him take hard shots and keep going forwards. He wasn't right. His demeanour was different.
He doesn't box like that at all with that pace. His weight loss and weight gain in the short period of time is affecting him. But his greed for money rushing the fight caused his downfall. He should start listening to his dad and come back at 100% for the rematch.

Spine tingling he looked fat and tired like he had lost so much to make the weight and rehydrated to the point he looked like Mr Blobby , the way he moved round the ring look slow and awkward and the knockout was very unusual for a guy known to be able to take a punch
