+Dipankar Sen Golden Era of Indian Classical Music He is Mr shashank maktedar, a very well accomplished singer and his disciple. Also, when the guru is singing the bandish (sthayee - once or twice as per the practice) the disciple can accompany him/ her in doing so.
@@tvp8686 Mr Sen is correct in pointing out that the disciple is actually being given more than usual scope for accompanying. After all he is not Pt Kasalkar. It is interrupting the flow of the alaap.

Never heard such beautiful dhin
Aapne jo DHIN ko pakda WAH maan gaye ye DHIN sirf suresh talvalkar ji hi Baja sakte hai .aap aaccha sunne wale ho......great❤❤❤
Aur ye DHIN bade muh ke table par hi maja deta hai
In alaaps, Panditji is pure Jaipur. There is an uncanny similarity with Surashree also, in meends particularly. This Lalita-Gauri takes me back.
Masters are always masters we are simply the listeners letting ourselves lost in their voices making the concert more precious
Genius!
Is Manjusha Kulkarni ji sitting among the audience?
Yess
She is one of his disciple

+Dipankar Sen Maybe the Guru himself?
