Thank you. I’ve watched a few other video and this was the one I was able to make one. Love that you had the errors still in the video, so I knew what to expect at times. Great video for your 2nd time using this product
Do these exist with a button, rather than a wheel, so you don’t have to keep turning it? I would rather have this one, because I don’t know how to do anything like this, and I’m interested in starting a craft with these, so I would want to feel like I was actually somewhat making it, rather than just a machine. I was just curious if they had one even more advanced. This is a really cool invention.
Tracy I have one of these, I bought mine a few years ago, mine is a different brand to yours but works exactly the same, and as you say they're great, you can use all your scraps of yarn to make rugs and baskets for your favourite pet, thanks for the demo and keep well.
Thats one of the things on my wish list. I think that would be so fun to play with. It would make cute friendship bracelets. It might be fun to try a sport weight yarn or even the DK and use rhe cord to make a bag.
I'm in the US. I found a used icord machine. They let it go so cheap that I was afraid there was something wrong with it, but I followed your instructions and I just made my first drawstring cord for some bottoms I want to sew. I'm thinking that I might want to get another one for backup. Everybody keeps saying we will be at war with China in another year or so and I really don't think we'll be getting imports if we do. I got stocked up on sausage twine. It's a size 10 thread like Baroque Cotton bedspread thread. Nice and smooth and got more yardage for half the price so I can dye it to match. There are a ton of things I can do with these cords. Happy dance! Thank you for this video, you did a great job showing the needles.
@@crochetrocks I hope they are, too! However, an economic war is already ongoing. Most people don't pay much attention to what is going on. China has been buying up large strips of acreage near our military bases. One in TX, they put an airstrip on it and built a huge bunker. We've got young Chinese men coming across our border. The news reported, over 4,000 since the beginning of the year that they are aware of. A couple of years ago, Chinese military were training in Canada. It's not looking good. I don't know how things are going to turn out, I'm just trying to prepare for whatever happens and crafts are a good therapy for stressful times.
I love to make miles of icord and then crochet blankets and beds for my local animal shelter 😻 This machine would be great for that🧶 Thanks for sharing 🥰 Stay safe 😷💕🌈
When you are getting started, you might try either putting your crochet hook up from the bottom and snagging that yarn or putting something like a paper clip and dropping it down as a weight.
Thanks so much for your video.!!❤ I'm not sure which one to buy this one or the prym comfort. What would you suggest? I know the other one clamps to the table and that looks convenient 🤔
The Tulip is better I have heard. It’s the only one I stock in hobbyrocks.co.uk if you get it from me don’t forget the voucher code 4friends2023 valid until the end of the month 🤟🤟
I thought I broke that machine😅 because when I take the yarn out the needle don't clese again and I move the handle many time right and left but when put the yarn again come to the normal
I keep following the directions to let the 1st and 3rd hook catch the yarn, then turn the handle, but it doesn't make an icord!!!?!?? I don't know what I'm doing wrong!!!
I am not sure I know it was tricky and I had to used the hook on occasion to make sure the right ones latched on. But once it was in the weight helped keep it together
My son got me the TULIP ICORD knitter from US. Thank you for demonstrating! I will try following your video. ❤
Have fun!

How neat, I’ve never seen one of these before. Thanks for showing us
Where can i get this? I am in South Africa

Someday I will get one. Thank you for showing us how it works.
Nice for younger people I imagine. Thanks for sharing.

that is a lot easier than I thought it would be thank you for showing it

Thanks for demonstration. My granddaughter would love it ❤️ she likes to make the bracelets.
Wow, that would be so convenient! Making i-chords manually takes an age.
Thank you for the tutorial. You made it look easy.
That is quite nifty. Especially for amigurami’s.

Cute little gizmo
I sell these in my Hobby Rocks shop I have linked the tutorial to the listing. I love mine 🤟
Bahahaha, binoculars 🤣🤣🤣 I like you. You had me smiling the entire time.
That looks like fun 🤘
It's very cute.
Nice I might just get one Tracy 💜
I just restocked them
Thank you!!! now i undertand how to do it :)
Sooooo cute 💛💚💙❤
Have you ever had the machine to mess up? If so is there a way to reconnect and start again? 4:40 CT 2/5/2024
I have not had that happen can you see to pick up the stitches?

@@crochetrocks oh thanks! I would like to get it from you but unfortunately shipping would be crazy I'm in Canada 😔
Can you use medium weight yarn size 4 for the machine
I have used it but I think that would be the limit
Is there a specific yarn size or weight that works best with this machine? What size is the yarn you are using here?
I heard that DK 3 weight yarn is best. I used DK
Can you put a cord down through the middle also ??
That is where the finished cord goes
You could make a really long one and then make a round or oval floor rug with it.
its like French knitting but faster:}
I thought I broke that machine😅 because when I take the yarn out the needle don't clese again and I move the handle many time right and left but when put the yarn again come to the normal
It's cute. Probably not something I would use. A neat idea though 👌
Hi. How did you connect 2 different i cord?
I would recommend the magic join
Love it
What yarn did you use?
It was acrylic DK Yarn
@@crochetrocks where do I get that from ?
pretty cool.
Just learning and my yarn is bunching up into a mess! Advice, please!
What ply is it. They recommend 3 weight DK also make sure the weight pulls it down
So cool!!!
Thank you. I was just so frustrated with the instructions that came with it
I know exactly what you mean!
It seems like my latch hooks won’t close on their own… any tips?
I thought mine didn’t at first I was doing it too slow.

Nice!
I should probably know this but I don’t. 😆 Does it only make one design?
I think so I don’t know if you can change the style by changing the way you thread it. I still think it’s cool tho
I am making wire words with this cord, just put the wire inside and make your shape 🥰
It's a neat little machine but to me I wouldn't have the patience lol
😊🤗💕

Interesting but sooo fiddly
Just knit or crochet an ICord Easy peasy. And no extra cost!
