    I am actually quite jealous at the amount of wonderclips you have. Great video as usual! Super concise and informative. I didn't honestly realize you could shave the edges of cut pieces the way you did it, definitely going to have to give that a try.

    Loved the video! Just curious, what kind of stitch do you use when sewing the face together by hand and do you use a thicker type of thread or maybe double it up for security🤔 thanks for the great vid as always!!🥰

      @xxcreatorspacexx  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I use a blanket stitch always! Security is garunteed based on how well you stitch. Ive seen blanket stitches that are weak due to poor sewing, but they can equally be super strong if done right. Thicker thread is reall up to you, again its the quality of how well you stitch more than thickness. I use the simple cloats and cloaks thread

      @@xxcreatorspacexx ahh, that's awesome!! I'll definitely be reshaping my technique, I've used the blanket stitch before and had sloppy results mostly due to thread randomly snapping and poor tension🤦🏽‍♀️ Im definitely going to try again tho, thank you so much for your advice!!🥰

    Do you use a blanket stitch for sewing the darts together?

    Is your head base template your own? I’m always baffled by how well they turn out 😊. I still do not have the patience to sit and cut all the foam edges to be smooth 🥲

    I just have a question, but why do ppl put these little cuts in the tape when they take it off the foam and put it on like paper or smth, is it supposed to make it bigger so when the fur is sewn together and applied on the foam head base it will fit?
    (Edit: video was very helpful btw👍 ty)

    • @xxcreatorspacexx
      @xxcreatorspacexx  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If i understand you correclty your asking about "darts"
      Since you pattern piece (the tape) is supposed to lay flat on the paper, most rpund edges wont lay flat, so the dart allows that curve to to be placed on the paper flat. Hope this helps

    How much seam allowance are you using?

    • @xxcreatorspacexx
      @xxcreatorspacexx  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Very little, like not even half an inch. It's really dependent on how much seam allowance you are comfortable with using. I work with very little seam allowance due to me hand sewing most times and me not liking to pick seams.

    Please please PLEASE wear a respirator or other PPE when shaving fur! The little shaved bits can travel into your lungs and cause a chronic condition known as Groomer's Lung (since it usually afflicts pet groomers).
    It's also vital to keep any pets out of your workspace as it can affect them too 🐾
