Review: Alritz Halloween Mystery Potions Activity Kit

This $22 activity kit includes everything you need to make 20 "Potions".
It is marked 6+ in age, and includes a whole bunch of glitter, tiny parts, colored dyes, and other non-edible and mess making materials. If you do give it to a six year old they will require adult supervision and a sheet of plastic over the floor and work surface.
I gave my 11 year old a silicon mat to work on (which he covered with glitter and water) and was glad I did when it came time for cleanup.
Overall it provides good value for the money, and my only complaint is that when you are finished you have a bunch of "potion bottles" sealed only with a cork that could come loose and spread glitter water throughout your house. [One of the included boxes does double duty as a "display case", but can't fit all of the potion bottles inside.]
The only way this kit could have been better is if everything in it was edible so that after they were done you had minimal cleanup.

Ask any crafter and we'll all tell you, "Glitter is the gift that keeps on giving!"
You will find it a month after you are SURE that you cleaned and mopped it all. If there's even the smallest piece on the kitchen floor, it will be found later on the bedroom floor or a dresser.
