Loved the video very good info. I started watching u b4 I got my old English bulldog shes a lilac. So 2days video was v.good but I love alot of ur videos. Pls keep the info coming. Tammi should make videos showing her side of raising a breeding xx
Hello, can u make a video regarding the types of chocolates such as bb bsbs bdbd bcbc (not sure if im right on all of them) but ive seen now people testing these different types and was wondering what they are.
From what i can work out the ii (intense dilute) gene is needed to make new shade isabella and new. I have researched this but not much info out there. It is needed in both parents to produce it in the pups
Wow This was SUPER helpful 🙏🏽 the parents for my pup are visually chocolate (w/tan points) but my pup is full suit lilac...her dna is: d/d B/B ...I guess I have to check for red eye glow.
Great video James... Steven has a Blue and Tan (King), that carries Testable, and he has thrown it to all but two of my pups from my last litter of 7, from my Lilac & Tan. I kept a Lilac & Tan girl from that breeding, she is Bb. King is throwing really large litters. I have two separate litters of 9 on the ground from him. Hoping most of them have Testable too, but I'm DEFINITELY not testing 18 Puppies. 😫😫😫
So if a dog is at/at, B/B, n/co , d/d , n/n , EM/e Could this produce isabella or new shade? Or to produce isabella pups does it need to be bb or B/b I think this is where some are confused
Iv looking to purchase lilac fawn quad carrier, dad is lilac quad carrier with testable chocolate and mother is triple carrier fawn, what are the chances the puppy has testable chocolate ?
I am looking at a dog that is Lilac BBddcoco so he is non testable chocolate. The DNA was done by Animal Genetics. In order to test the "non testable", I would have to go to UC Davis, correct? Or is there another way to test? Thanks.
Hi james i have just had litter of pups mum non testable lilac with red eye glow and dad is testable new shade lilac. All pups are lilac with red eye glow. Just waiting on dna results. Do you think they will al carry a copy of testable. Thanks
My frenchie delivered 13 pups on the 14th this month, super excited to get them all tested. Some of their coats look very interesting, what started as blue coats developed fawn on top, so I'm intrigued as to what it'll look like. maybe lilac?
@@angel6728 Yeah! Apparently thats the biggest litter a frenchie has ever had. It was her first go, too! Unfortunately, we didnt get it documented, and one of the puppies with a cleft lip died at around 6 weeks. Someone else currently holds the record though from some years prior. The colours we ended up having were: 4 blue and tan, 2 lilac, 1 blue fawn, 3 fawn sable, and 3 black and tan. quite the mix!
@@angel6728 She was maybe 2 years and a couple months old when we decided to breed her. Doesn't really matter after which heat, just make sure your dog is over 2 years for a healthier litter. Her stud was 7 months old, apparently the younger the male is, the better. 6 months is the youngest. The male should be smaller than the female; these are all things that give you bigger litters! We did artificial insemination too. Edit*: You should also pick the day you breed them very specifically. Dogs are at their most fertile about 9 or 10 days once they are in heat. You can check if they are ready to breed by touching just below their tail; if you see a contraction or their tail move to the side, they're ready. 😊
Hi, James from Moscow. Big fan of your work and thank you for your educational videos. I have a brindle French bulldog (female) we here also call it tiger coloured. I have got two questions for you : 1- do you ship to Russia? 2- How do i breed it to get rare health coloured Frenchies? Description: brindle French bulldog fawn (tan) base coat with heavier brindle markings face black masked
I have a dog with DNA test of B/b was wondering can I create isabellas with her if I mate her with a b/b ? Or how would I be able to create isabellas ?
Locate what b variants are carrying in a boston ie bs bd and bc and that should give you an idea if the Boston's only contain 2 And some French I've seen carry 3 there are people crossing in more than the Boston's I understand this has to happen but theoretically every colour has been crossed in from another breed
I have a question. I have a dog that carries Bb dd at at Ee . Trying to breed it with my male co co dd Em E In In ay ay . Want to know or if you can give me an idea what would I produce?
@@LoveMyPups sooo how would you write out an isabella's dna? I was under the impression that the (untestable) is what made isabella. What type of dogs do you need to breed together to get an isabella. And I've seen isabella frenchies with the "aa" gene wouldnt that make it all black?
Please help me figure it out!How is lilac fawn(tan) and isabella(tan) different from a genetic point of view? The colors are different, but the set of letters is the same lilac fawn ay/at dd bb kyky.Because one breeder writes that his male lilac fawn with such a set of genes, and another breeder writes the same set of letters on a dog with Isabella color

What about bs, bc, bd? What specific browns together make rojo? If the female carrie’s bcbd what does the male need to carry to make rojo?

My dog is d1/d1, co/co going for his fist breeding chances of cocoa, lilac pups
If u breed to lilac 100% lilac
And what is Co Co? Is this chocolate too?
