Cursus Nederlands: Voorzetsels - Prepositions in Dutch. This is a Dutch vocabulary lesson in a series of 40 videos, with each video lesson containing 25 Dutch words, a course with the goal to speak Dutch, developed by Bart de Pau "1000 most common words in Dutch".
The course is aimed at beginners, who want to learn Dutch vocabulary fast. Of each word, you see the Dutch word and the english translation, and a picture. For learning Dutch pronunciation, each word is repeated twice.
Best way to study the Dutch language lessson about prepositions in Dutch:
watch the video 1 or 2 times
study the word list www.learndutch....
do the test; repeat it if you made mistakes
no mistakes in the test - then go to the next lesson

Dear Bart De Pau, you have encouraged me to learn Dutch, as my 6th. fluent language.
Language 1 to 4 is: Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and English. Language 5, is a work in progress: German. I'm currently on level B1, and by some tough work and some luck, I'm going to be fluent in German before the end of the year 2019. :-)
I'm looking forward, to learn the Dutch language.

If the word doesn't correlate with English (Olde or New) I seek it out through Swedish, German etc and if it doesn't match , I must work harder at derivation
The French proximity does come through at times

Great video but why do you pronounce "voor" with V instead of "F" like it is done in standard Dutch? Letter V is unvoiced, W however is voiced

As much as I appreciate these lessons, I am disappointed by the many sexual (sometimes even sexist) comments in the videos. From the top of my head: I already heard a comment about "de vrouwelijke dokter" that Bart would like to visit often, a reference to 69, a picture describing the adjective "heet" with two women in a sauna together with the comment "it is not about the women, it's about the sauna"... and even when it's about the preposition "in het midden" there is a picture of two women fighting for a guy... I understand these are intended to make the lessons "funny", but they just fail to do so. Instead, they make them less valuable, whilst making me quite uncomfortable. I am only at lesson 11; hopefully Bart got it out of his system in later lessons...

@@1975letho me too, I like the lessons as they are easy to follow, but I can't help getting distracted by the stereotypical and sexist inuendos depicting women always looking attractive, sexy in scenes always involving a man... catch my drift! It's really off putting and makes me wonder does Bart really see women like this. It's definitely not the most intelligent form of humour and really should know better for someone teaching language.
