Long Range is part of the Chazm spiderman build, you build rapid recharge and superior stamina so you can jump/grapple above peoples heads and fire down. 15 m range is a lot shorter than people think and the conditional +30% weapon damage is pretty nice in a gun lash build. That build also uses escalating resilience; this person did not use superior stamina so if they're doing the spiderman build it's being done wrong.
love chazm. used to play with him in my university team, his game sense and tech in any game he plays is always so fun. he uses movement in such a special way.
Hi great video! At 3:22 you commend him for not insta ground striking. I hear ya that’s typically a smart move so you can see if they dash away, but in this case, wouldn’t GS sooner keep him under tower longer and secure the kill?
@@Midknighttxtgotcha. And if he did would you still want to wait? On a lane ult into guardian, I typically GS immediately towards the steps and it always pops them mid dash. Seems to get us alot of secures!
@@TeachAManToPhish I apricate it! If I had to guess it's because I don't have my obs reforming from mp3 to mp4 I'll turn that on for the next vid I record (the one after tomorrow's) and see if that works
I'm a little confused, are you coaching someone or was this your game? You keep saying 'we' and honestly it's extremely distracting. You say "I remember meleeing" and "I should do x", it genuinely makes it hard to watch (at least if it's someone else's game). If it was your game, why did you frame the video as if you're reviewing other people's games? It being so ambiguous frustrates me a lot. It's like you're trying to provide as little context as possible. It's generally disorienting and makes it hard to just relax and watch the video. Edit: I'm sorry I phrased it so harshly, I was just very frustrated cause I was super interested in watching this, but the way you phrase things is supernaturally effective at getting under my skin. I really have nothing against you other than that, so sorry. Don't feel the need to change because of me, I'm the problem here.
He is coaching another person. Using “we” instead of “you” is a rhetorical technique that is used a lot by teachers and coaches. It identifies the student with the coach and makes critiques seem more supportive and less like scolding. I see how it can be disorienting if you’ve never heard it but it’s pretty common. (As a bonus tip, saying “we” instead of “you” when using voice chat in games does make it more likely people will actually listen to you)
@Annoyedgrunt97able The second part I get, cause you're on a team. And I think it'd feel better if I was the one being coached, but with this format it feels very odd. Where I'm watching one person review a complete stranger's vod. There is practically no relationship outside of one-sided advice so the 'we' really throws me off.
@@godlyvex5543that’s the main part. We’re watch the coach talk to the player so our objective isn’t to feel like we’re being coached but instead to observe the entire picture as a whole - which there’s a lot of manual labour in doing so, hence why your frustration’s validated. The upside to putting in that labour is that we get to pick and choose what we’re trying to learn from the video - is it to: Gather coaching methods/ tips improve at the game Understand video format Etc… only a few examples spit balled but I hope the point came across well enough

@@greenbiscuits37495 lol thanks
He maxed flog first instead of getting the additional +6 bullet damage while flying which kida confused me
but then I recognised the gun build

I believe at this point he doesn't have enough points in his ground strike to knock up
