I had terrible visions of maxing out all of my credit cards when I watched this....but, maybe that's just me. Great video. Great suggestions. Thank you.
muteFPV oh, no criticism intended. I’ve been around long enough to have my own storage unit full of tools, just in case I run out in my garage. No, my comments were in the spirit of “Aren’t we all just crazy?”
the all in one grip tool is exactly what I was looking for. It rip through my skin sometimes to tighten fresh props when I tighten up the nut to the motor. lol Thank you for this!
All I had when I started was a butterknife and a wrench and screwdriver that came from some IKEA furniture. Now, much like mute, I suffer from GAS (gear acquisition syndrome). Help me!!!!
Also, small advice from me to mutes viewers: If you dremel stuff wear protective eye wear! Almost lost an eye once as the fiberglas cutting discs love to spontaneously explode in all directions
This is a pretty nuts amount of tools. While I know that getting into the hobby you don't need all of these, I do often feel like there are a lot of tools I still need even though I am just getting into it.
I hadn't realized how many I had, until I made this video :P And I forgot a few more stuff too! The bare minimum is good solder, a decent soldering iron and a few basic hand tools. Sadly many people skimp on the solder and it is one of the most crucial parts. I have tried myself several Chinese cheap solder and it is like mud, awful.
@@muteFPV I recently bought some mg chemicals lead solder and had only ever used cheap solder before that. I was surprised that everytime I tried to pull away the soldering iron I would gets little tail of solder trailing off the blob.
@@RavenWindrunner you mean now with the new better solder? It happens to me too sometimes and I think it is a matter of temperature of the soldering iron.
@@muteFPV yeah it was surprising to me because I thought it would make soldering easier but it's actually made it a bit trickier. I'll try adjusting my soldering iron. Would you suggest going a bit hotter so that the solder would remain hot for a bit longer?

G'day D, great review on the tools there are some awsome tools in your collection for the work shop and the field, do you take alot of tools when you are out flying with the guys? Good to see you back mate.👍🛸
Good to be back, editing new content whenever I have some time to spare :) I have one pouch of my backpack for soldering gear (TS100 with TS-D24 tip, reverse tweezers, forceps, standard tweezers, car ligther to XT60 and XT60 to DC jack, solder tube) and another pouch for the rest (aio driver, cutters, sidecutters, pliers etc). What I don't have is time to go fly :(
Hello :) I am using Adobe Premiere for editing. I did not use a template, I just created a border and scaled 2 videos and 1 photo in one single frame. There are definitely free options that you could use but I have no idea which and how. I only know Premiere
Ah sorry I just read again your first comment. You were asking about the intro. I made a grid with all the videos and then I created a mask with my logo in Photoshop. I left the inside if the text transparent so that the videos can show up. I don't know if there is a better way to do this.
@@muteFPV perfect explanation. i was confused about the first comment but i was just satisfied you replied to my question lol. now i am overly satisfied with your great response. can't wait to try one of my own. i want to make a grid with all of my past videos and mask it with my transparent logo. can't wait!
😁🤟 it is fun to pick each tool one by one! Something that is convenient for me maybe will not be for you. This is why I preferred to show multiple tools that essentially do the same thing.
Fascinating set of tools you have there, I'm always on the lookout for new and interesting ones, I'll definitely have to note down some of those to add to my future shopping lists. Here's a tool of mine I designed & use all of the time when soldering: Thingiverse 3270453 There's links on the page for versions that fit the jumbo and American size boxes.
Heya :) Yeah Thingiverse's speed has taken a nosedive. I've been digging through your videos, your LED gate ideas are great, especially like the infinity one. A couple of years ago I made some whoop gates using: pound shop (dollar store) battery powered 20x LED strings wrapped round and taped to lengths of garden wire nailed to blocks of wood for stability. Cheap & good, just not very easy to store. You can see them in my recent Mobula 6 videos.
Underrated ……… content !
love the editing and concept
Thank you very much!
Usefulness 10/10. Thanks for that!
You're welcome! :)

At least this GAS isn't smelly :P
So true, I should have included my protective spectacles in there too. I forgot a few other stuff too.

Nice one,i was hoping you might pull out a Rambo knife at the end there, strictly for the field of course. :-)
Hehehe, damn I should have done a few funny bits like this in between shots..
Could you please review Eachine ev800dm so that I can know how is it ?
I won't be getting those, I rarely like headboxes. I think now they don't split into a standalone monitor, like the previous models did. Is this true?
