It seems like we might make it through the rest of 2020. Whacky year, I tell ya. A pandemic and wasps and volcanoes and UFOs and whatever. We even had SGaP back for 2 months! The only thing we can't have is good new musicians, it seems.
I used this song for a school project, and I saw some feet tapping in the audience when it came on. Congratulations, notacleverpony. You've made people rock out to ponies without them even knowing it. Thanks for making this awesome song.

I love this track! The little interruption at 1:45 is pretty sweet, and the whole song has a feeling of calculated, determined anger, flowing from pain. Well done!

While this wasn't one I listened to quite as much as others it certainly elicits some form of feeling for me, just reminds me of the vastness of space beyond and what unknown wonders lie beyond it. Oh and it reminds me of Luna too ^^;
I started early February of 2012 and I can say without a doubt the beginning of 2011 is where the fandom began to pick up its steam and by the end of the year into 2012 onward it was bursting with creativity and newcomers to the scene. The musical scene itself was definitely founded upon the works that were made in 2011 for sure though. Don't worry about being alone there at age 50 cause I've been listening to NotACleverPony and many other musicians from this place for almost 5 years now and I still haven't stopped nor do I plan to anytime soon. The golden age may be over but we still have the memories and legacy that it carried on for the future. Glad to meet a new fellow who shares my enthusiasm for the music community of the brony fandom. If you ever want to talk more just hit me up!
Glad to see someone else with a good sense about what the future likely holds. This show isn't going anywhere anytime soon at this rate and I agree with how much of an impact this community has had and how far its reached it won't fade with the ending of generation 4 whenever that may be. I too look forward to where we go from here but we'll get there in time.

Like I told you yesterday, I LOVE IT. It's great getting to hear the whole thing, this is very pleasing to listen to and has a great and consistent mood overall. The bells accentuate the starry ethereal feeling it has, and balances out the hard synth into a very smooth experience. Great beat, rythm, everything. So what's next, clever pony?
This whole EP was, and still is, just magical X3 Luna has always been the most interesting character to me aesthetically, to say nothing of her backstory. It's (to say the least) really engaging
This was on the tracks i played when holding my cousin as a baby so she could be chill enough to sleep. She is so big now so this brings back memories.
I think one reason why Luna is so popular with fans is she has such a more emotional and tragic storyline than the other characters. While all the characters are interesting in their own way, Luna is the only one that brings out a tinge of sadness at the same time.
Nostalgia really is a powerful thing, i get a tingle everytime i come back to this and other songs that the fandom was putting out on a near regular basis, the early years were undoubtedly the best and i sometimes wish i could go back to it.
Oh man this takes me back, this song was one of the things that really got me into the fandom. Even though I've since moved on small pieces like this are always a joy.

I like coming back to listen to these every once in a while. Good times... good times. The days when people genuinely made music themed for characters in the show and not just garbage remixes.
This song and part of the story always makes me combine Nightmare Moon and Rorshach. "...will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No.""
I wish NACP all the best and I hope that she is doing great, regardless of making more character themed music. I just wish I could find music like this and the rest of Princess Luna As Imagined somewhere, but I have never found anything with a similar sound or feel. I keep listening to these tracks and I keep losing myself in it, imagining rows upon rows of loyal batponies marching below a maniacally laughing Nightmare Moon (think Be Prepared) as she plans the destruction of Equestria. I would have loved an album similar to this, except focusing on Celestia and maybe a happier sound (my headcanon of Luna is and always will be one of her feeling guilty and sad, and the songs are so full of despair and sadness to me) celebrating the glory of the Solar Empire during NMMs imprisonment and up till Luna's return, the two sisters being reunited and ending with a third album featuring a united Equestria once more. bla bla bla, sorry. I just really adore your musical talent NACP, and I keep hoping for new tracks from you in any shape or sound.

NLR themed music always reminds me of the Apollo Missions. This one reminds me of Apollo 11. "For The New Lunar Republic" reminds me of Apollo 17, and "The Stars will Aid Her Escape" reminds me of Apollo 13

OVERANALYSE TIME! Like the comment by Bookman230, this songs capture the emotions of these moments perfectly. This one has that dark heavy edge to it. You can imagine the dark thoughts, "my sister is selfish..." "The ponies should embrace ME!" so much so it becomes a psychotic babble. It just feels.... angry.
