I got promoted today to training and quality manager at my place of work. I taught basic Gong Fu brewing in my interview and recruitment said it was the thing that made me stand out. #teahead
you all probably dont give a damn but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I love any tricks you can give me!
Don, I can feel the mission behind this product, and it's beautiful. The genuine intention is apparent, and I loved hearing you express your passion for this project.
It occurs to me that with a set of fine scales and bags of green leaves you might start to look a bit dodgy were you to try and get that through airport security
You are good at really presenting your product and keep enough energy to avoid being boring. Keep that enthusiasm. I've got to get this. I have thought before. I could not share my teas with people easily. Problem solved.
Gonna be nitpicky here... haven't finished watching the video yet, and this seems like a great product - but why only one color? This type of fairly bright blue doesn't really go with my wardrobe. Maybe I'm just vain but I can't be the only one. It's actually one of the main reasons I wouldn't get this for myself. As a student, if I'm paying around 100 euros for a product, it kind of has to be something I can see myself being satisfied with for years to come, and I feel that if the color isn't 'right' it would always irk me a bit. What about adding options for black, beige and red, for example? (God I'd love a beige version.) I feel that would cover quite a range of styles, and probably increase sales for you guys. I know... I'm picky, I'm vain. I just believe in the importance of aesthetics of daily products for mental well-being.
Hi. It would be really expensive for clients to have colour options because we are already ordering the minimum quantity for manufacture. If the product proves popular enough that we can produce larger quantities then we can consider more colours and we will remember your request for beige!
Don consistently tries to bring new products to the tea market, being the best ambassador the tea world has ever seen and ppl are complaining the color isn’t just right...smh
I just purchased one of these and I can't wait to start putting it to good use! Such a great idea for a product and something I haven't seen anywhere else.
I'm currently using a camera bag for this. I need it mostly when I go to work, so I also need a place to store my laptop in. The one I'm currently using is a bit too small though. We are switching to dynamic seating, where you can sit and work anywhere in the building. But in return that means you don't have "your" workplace anymore, means I have to also bring my mouse/keyboard and a few cables and personal items with me. While my camera bag is perfect for my tea set plus notebook, I now need a bigger replacement.. kinda glad you made this video :)
Hi! It's great that you came up with this and it really shows your understanding of and dedication to your clients who probably have all become passionate tea drinkers--thanks to your influence. In my experience in traveling and drinking tea gongfu style is that I need the least bag to carry with me. I've been to camping and on the plane, mountains, visited friends, etc.. and mostly I carry one camera backpack which contains my telefoto camera, laptop, chargers, gadgets, sketchpad, watercolors and my tiny traveling tea set and a 350ml thermos, too. All I am missing is the water catcher tray, which I often become too resourceful in time of need. The space for the tray would be for the laptop. I also have a thin birch wooden tray that I can slip in sometimes. In addition I want my backpack to be of neutral color, too, so I can easily match it to any outfit--so fashion also plays a role in travel, you see. Also when on the plane, I don't think I would want to be opening the backpack in such confined space and disturbing everyone with the velcro. So what I do is take out my tiny tea set pouch, that I can carry with one hand and keep the backpack in the overhead compartment and then just use the food tray as the catcher. A 100 ml gaiwan is enough for quick solo sessions. I drink green tea when traveling so need to rinse and very hot water. But that's just me being very specific with my travel and tea drinking habits, which may sound OCD to some. I will probably keep it this way for now and see if I can customize my own traveling tea set based from your example. Thanks again for your forward thinking and coming up with products like this.
I'm a big fan of yours! Great job to you and the Mei Leaf Team for always bringing us the best of the Tea World! Mabuhay to all of you guys from the Philippines!! 😎😁🤗
I absolutely love this idea. I'm a college student, so I travel home for breaks quite often, and I always need to use half my suitcase for tea things. We'll see when I can get the money for it, haha
I used a jet boil for awhile and then switched to a cheaper and smaller little nossle thing that goes directly on the fuel canister with a oversized porcelain camping cup and the metal steeper out of a small pot set, works like a charm
This is something I would love to do. The question I keep having is about the water. Do you heat it up to boiling and that thermos will hold that temperature for hours? That's amazing. The only thing about that for me is we try to use only glass or clay when there is liquid at high temperature for health. I don't like compromising on that when I'm serving people especially. . . maybe I need to loosen up but it's part of my brewing. That is the reason I haven't bought a Stagg EKG. My solutions to this have involved just taking my Trendglas Jena kettle and finding a stove, or buying a Biolite Campstove 2 or Enki Wild and finding some sticks somewhere and burning them to boil water. There is something nice about using fire and earthen materials to boil water... psychologically it sets a really good tone for tea. What suggestions do you have to get water up to temp for mobile brews? I would love to just go around sharing gong fu with people.
So the tea tray isn’t like the gongfu guru since it’s bamboo, and not stainless steel. By chance when you make the version 2 will you change that or is that too heavy
THE TRUE TEA BAG!!!
You win. 😂😂
I got promoted today to training and quality manager at my place of work. I taught basic Gong Fu brewing in my interview and recruitment said it was the thing that made me stand out. #teahead
I have converted a chunk of my office to Tea. Gong Fu of course

The only tea bag allowed.
Does it come with pouches to hold my lipton tea bags?
yeah does it #liptonlove
It occurs to me that with a set of fine scales and bags of green leaves you might start to look a bit dodgy were you to try and get that through airport security
I have to say, you are ahead of Chinese people on this! we do not have such a special bag for tea while traveling....what a nice bag~
What a nice compliment!
You are good at really presenting your product and keep enough energy to avoid being boring. Keep that enthusiasm. I've got to get this. I have thought before. I could not share my teas with people easily. Problem solved.
Very nice. Looks like a must have.

Vladimir Yuvachov TEA colored👍
I would love a black or a dark forest green as well! I hope this product flies off the shelves
Agreed. I am not a fan of the blue.

Woah, you can fit everything but the kitchen sink in there
lol
This is amazing! Have you had any issues with TSA checking out your teaware?
Brew in front of the TSA.
Just offer the agent a cup of what's probably the best tea he's ever had.
You lunatic. I love you.

This is so amazing! You guys should be very proud of it. :) You saw that there wasn't anything quite ideal like this and you made it. Great job. :)
it would be cool to see a way to boil water in the set up, or at least a kettle and then you make a fire if you're on a hike or something
I used a jet boil for awhile and then switched to a cheaper and smaller little nossle thing that goes directly on the fuel canister with a oversized porcelain camping cup and the metal steeper out of a small pot set, works like a charm
I thought I saw this last week and wanted to pick it up on blaze Friday, got to involved with family and forgot to go back to your website
And available in time for Christmas, no less!

If I actually get a good tax return, then I’ll definitely buy this.
