    Hello,
    This angle grinder attachment for sanding looks like a great tool for wood working projects.
    However, it's a shame that this attachment is not available anymore.
    Thanks

    What a great little tool, I've built a couple of belt grinders in the past and they are very useful but that would be great in a small workshop were space in at a premium, atb John.

    G’day Steve, an interesting attachment and handy in that you can hang it on the wall when finished. Things I don’t like, angle grinders are noisy and too fast if not variable, interesting tool though. Cheers Peter

    J'ai fais l'acquisition de ce matériel ( sans la meuleuse) une vraie catastrophe ! Les rouleaux ne sont pas alignés ce qui fait que la bande sort au bout de 3 secondes, malgré une inclinaison de 30° du rouleau de reglage. De plus. La fixation de la meuleuse ne correspond pas aux diamètre de la machine...( soit c'est trop petit et la meule n'entre pas, soit c'est trop gros et c'est impossible de serrer et d'avoir un bon maintient) ... extrêmement déçu de ce matériel !

    Be advised that IT DOESN'T FIT EVERY ANGLE GRINDER! Mine is a Fein wsg12-125P(A) and the head is too large for the connecting ring of the belt sander (50 mm OD for a 43 mm ID ring). If Banggod had bothered to put the ID of the ring anywhere on their product page - where they put every measurement possible except this one which is the most important to begin with - I wouldn't have bought it. Must be engineered for Chinese angle grinders... I notified them of my problem yesterday and I'm waiting for an answer... There's a choice between M10 or M14 thread, but I'm afraid that's all.
    We'll see...

    • @SteveJordan
      @SteveJordan  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't use the angle grinder in the end. I used a single phase motor salvaged from a treadmill. It is much slower than the angle grinder but it has very good high torque. The angle grinder is ok but still a bit too fast for what I use it for.

    I got the attachment only to find it dose not fit to my BLACK+DECKER angle grinder. So it's a thumbs down from me on the product. all it needed was a bigger screw attachment to the angle grinder.

    • @SteveJordan
      @SteveJordan  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Marvin. Well it clearly says what the size of the screw adapter, ie 10mm thread, is on the listing. Plus I made it clear in the review. You are then giving a thumbs down on the product for your mistake of not taking note.
      I don't know whether they do a larger drive attachment. Also like I said in this video, it is best to get a variable speed angle grinder.
      I'm going to fit a motor to mine soon as the angle grinders are a bit too noisy.

    • @marvinlockhart8566
      @marvinlockhart8566 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with you. When I first seen this product it was not from this video I watched this video to see how to assemble it together I already had the product to my disappointment did not fit. Ithink it would be better if it came with different sizes attachments. I'm not going to buy another angle grinder to fit it. Hence the thumbs down on the product not on you video. Wish I'd seen your review on the product before I got it.
