Jean how lovely to see your smiling face and your garden is beautiful. It is getting cold here too. I am so sad I am not decorating this year for Halloween because we are moving and I have to focus all my energy in going through and wrapping and packing all my stuff. What an ordeal. But once we get to the new home I will be decorating again and will love having a new neighbourhood and maybe some young kids to come trick or treat. Do you have lots of kids coming for candy? Our Hummingbirds left a month ago...made me so sad but now I have Cardinals, Blue Jays and Chickadees coming. Each season brings something new to enjoy. It's Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend coming and I am excited to celebrate the Fall season.

Beautiful plants and everything so nice Yes we had a hurricane cat 5 on 2017 in PR and EVERYTHING was destroyed all the grass and trees disappeared We didn't have potable water for 4 months and electricity for 6 months( in my hometown in the center of the island) it was like a bomb fell in the country Very hard time and it took the country almost one year to recover
@@anitzaburgos7859 Yes it’s unbelievable the damage a strong hurricane can do and how hard it is on the people that live there. So many places are never the same after that. @@joanshute3384 Thanks so much Joan. We don’t have heat in the garage. I water the plants and let them drain before I carry them in the garage. I only water them about every 3 weeks or so and I don’t over water them while they’re in the garage. About beginning of March I water them a little more and by end of March or beginning of April I start trimming back dead leaves and stems on the plants and give them all a dose of water soluble fertilizer . The majority of plants do just fine. I haven’t had any success in keeping tropical mandevilla or tropical hibiscus in the garage. They completely die. Love and blessings 🐈⬛🍁🎃🍁🐈⬛

Yes, I have a lot of success wintering over plants too. I know we love a lot of the same plants. I don’t know if I said already, that I was surprised how easy it is to grow coleus from seed. And the variety is amazing.
