Kind of. The British tried night raids once but it didn’t work. Keep in mind they got the Germans got there heavy water from Norway. They also tried British commando raids. That didn’t work either. But then Norwegian, British trained, freedom fighters raided the plant that was making the heavy water and destroyed it.

Heavy Water could have been used to create a nuclear reactor thus allowing the Germans to build a nuclear weapons. The British and Americans sent in a commando raid, (which failed), tried to bomb it from the air, (also failed), before a squad of Norwegian commandos trained by the British, finally sabotaged the plant, and some of the same commandos sank a ferry full of heavy water several weeks later, and essentially stopped the Germans from getting nukes. (They never got anywhere close to creating any)
A recently found sunken Nazi cargo ship actually showed they actually did have one fully capable and ready to drop nuke ready to be used. Thankfully as was stated, the ship was sunk, so the Nazi's never got to use it.
