My flatmate is so fussy he turned his nose up at this. But today having visited Iceland we bought a bag of this kebab meat. He had just eaten three pitta bread kebabs and loved it. Thank you for your recommendation.

I remember a lady commenting on you to try this on the channel and how good it was. I brought some kebab meat from Morrisons and it looked nothing like that it was horrible. That looked decent and I’ve heard it’s good! Love the Crucials sauces!! Top video pal 👊 ….. Smithy
Can’t agree more, I tried this stuff I found in my mums freezer so good. Better than takeaway. Best done in the oven or grill for a few minutes or even George foreman, great in a toastie machine also with red onion

i think my daughter has bought them for our sunday supper.. there is one at poundland (frozen) for £1.75 for about 4-500 grams and it tastes fantastic.. thick cut and you microwave it... just don't look at the ingredients a lot of that mechanically recovered meat.. it does two of us for dinner and the dog for his breakfast
Mechanically produced meet is what is washed from the factory Machines at the end of the day, if you see the process you’d probably not eat it, however everyone to their own, great video thanks for sharing. 🇮🇪

It was only after I replied that I realised you got it from Iceland. I thought it was Aldi. The nearest Iceland to me is a little over an hour away but I should be up there next week so I’ll check it out and let you know how I get on. 👍

That yoghurt and mint sauce is lush, i have it with almost everything 😂 your salad portion is a tad on the small side for me, i like it loaded for the crunch and freshness and i wouldnt touch doner meat its foul, chicken kebabs only ❤

I've had that stuff and pan fried it, but yes its not bad if you smother it with sauce, that soft pitta is a good idea because normal supermarket pittas tend to fall apart and disentergrate

Hi Deano, your kebab looked better than my take away one from last night. I would definitely try that meat. I ordered a large dinner last night, i haven't had one for months, when you used to get one you got it in a large pizza box with 3 pitta bread and 2 sauces. When it came last night i couldn't believe it, it was in a small pizza box with 1 pitta bread and 1 sauce and there wasn't much in the box, it was 9 pounds. I was gobsmacked. I think you're better off buying that bag of doner meat and the pitta breads. The pitta breads looked lovely

Struggling to find money for food ATM. But starting a new, not badly paid job on Monday, so might have to treat myself to these when I get paid. Hate cucumber, but when i go my local kebab place, i always ask for both lettuce and red onion

wouldnt go near that with a bargepole.colmans make a doner mix only a quid in some shops and add to mince lamb cook in a slow cooker .its really good.
If taste like your kebab house I now Wonder is that what the use wnd the one one the spit is for show make more money
Mechanically recovered meat is the absolute worst of the worst. This kebab meat works out at £11.43 per kg unless you multibuy. That's not good. I'm in Aldi now and im seeing an entire marinated fresh British spatchcook chicken for 29p more. I know it's not the same product but as someone else said, Iceland really are laughing all the way to the bank with this crap

@@JustDeano even butchers cheekily add extras… I know my local butcher here adds cheap fillers, granted not more than 10% but it’s still cheapening the product. I’m happy with supermarket meat and just make my own kebabs burgers etc.

Beer before the kebab surely? I had a German Doner Kebab and wasn't a fan of the toasted bun
Dude, a beer is mandatory before a kebab. What kind of beast would eat is sober. On a moee serious note, I always have beers/drinks before naugthy food i.e. currys/kebabs. Otherwise, you eat, have to drink more, get the munchies and eat again. Surely I can not be the only one. @@JustDeano
