Yo Obi, You probably won't respond to this but I thought you should know how much of an inspiration you are to the me. You confidently live the type of controlled life that I am working on living. The discipline and drive you have in what you love and what consequently brings about a feeling of pleasure in you is exactly what I want in myself. You resonate so much to me. You are what I aspire to become essentially and because of that, I push myself harder and harder everyday to take control and do what I love and what will carry me for a very long time in life. I am very very grateful to be living in a generation that has people like you in it. 🙏🙏🙏 You are heavily appreciated man.

Obi, I live a life very similar to yours... I'm 32, single and stable. Most folks couldn't even begin to understand the peace and mental stability that comes with this kind of lifestyle... not to mention the freedom. Like you, I'm single by choice, not because I'm defective or anything... I get along very well with people and I do date, I'm just uninterested in pair bonding with anyone right now. Just live your life as you want to, man. You only have one go at this life... do it on your terms. Much love.

I don't know about any of you guys commenting on this video, but this gentleman has inspired me DEARLY with his collection of plants. Ever since his earlier videos and his care for his plants, I bought a few plants and added a baby cactus to my collection. I love the new hobby. Now, I'm starting to become a proud parent to my green plants. I plan to buy MORE plants in the next couple of weeks. They definitely add more peace and ambience to my humbled home. Obi, if you read this, continue on with your VLOGS. I'm always looking forward to them every week
I'm in my thirties too and have no desire to become a parent and I made peace with it long ago. I'm a loner too but I understand that being alone does not translate to loneliness.
The best you can do is live the life you want for yourself. You have created a beautiful life and you need to just focus on that. You deserve to be happy in a way that makes sense to you and no one else.
Be authentic and true to you, that's all that matters. You showing up every day as yourself and no one else.❤❤❤

I truly understand your sentiments, Obi. Throughout my life, I have struggled with the suffocating expectations of conformity. However, these days, I have managed to free myself from its grip and no longer let it affect me. It may be hard to believe, but they are aware of your happiness and perhaps even resent it. Their attempts to disturb your peace of mind are rooted in their own discontent. It's essential not to allow this toxicity into your space. The more you overlook it, the stronger you become.
Obi you don’t have to answer to anyone about your life decisions, it’s your life and not for anyone else to dictate how you should live it. I am a true believer in that what will be, will be. Keep smiling and keep up the amazing content. ❤👊🏾

I'm 47 not married and child free. I LOVE my life❤ I create loving memories with people I enjoy. I chose the "non-traditional" life and no regrets. Just came back from girls weekend and winding down to the relaxing weekly Obi Vincent vlog!

As someone who lived very happily on their own for many years, keep living your best life Obi! I'm not living on my own anymore but that was just where life took me and if something changed I would still be very happy living alone. Living alone is never the same as being alone. I would go out with friends almost daily and loved it. Coming home was where I recharged and have heard others feel the same.

Listen, it’s weird how people feel like they know what’s best for a complete stranger. Yes you show us bits of your life once a week.. but we don’t know you IRL. So as a mom of 3… just don’t rush it. It’s expensive out here right now. I mean do it if you want to when you’re ready if you’re ready. I love having children but not everyone does. I still live vicariously through you. Sometimes slightly jealous of the peace and quiet, and level of organization, and autonomy you can maintain living alone, lol. Anyways, ignore the trolls as usual, you’re doing great! Your very intentional life inspires all of us steady fans, just as you are. Maybe some distant day you will or won't choose to have kids or start a relationship of some type with a person who has children or grandchild or great grandchildren to enjoy. No matter if you do or don't, and certainly no rush!

Hey Obi! Thank you for the cozy video. I love the idea of you getting back into your routines, and I like the workouts cause I get ideas from them. And don't worry about being single, I get the same feedback too from people. I've always been an introvert and loner myself, but I still get asked about kids (and I don't understand the fascination with my singleness either, but whatever). I personally decided to not have them (I'm divorced too, but that's not the reason however). I just wasn't ready for kids either. My brother had 5 daughters and struggled with this, I didn't want to struggle with raising kids and be single or married. So, I totally agree with you 100% on this. I love what I have right now (freedom, being able to hang with friends, hitting the gym, etc.), and like you said, when it's the right time it'll happen. But my advice is just enjoy your life because tomorrow isn't promised to anyone.

I don't know what keeps bringing me back to your vlogs. Most times your choice of music annoys me as I find it too down tempo buy hey i get it, it's your style and your choice. What i've found is there's something refreshing about your videos. It's nice to see you going about your daily business, not bragging or boasting about what you have or how great you are like many vloggers do. I find your videos calming, pleasant, really enjoyable and somewhat addictive and I don't know why, but whatever it is, keep up the good work, love your stuff!! :)

Fellow Nigerian here living in the USA. I get asked the same question a lot and it truly gets annoying. I do feel it’s projection too, I try not to respond so I don’t come off as disrespectful to the elders. Majority of them pushing marriage and kids are truly miserable!
