On this subject, oh curator, you absolutely rule. I don’t think anyone else out there has the same level of taste and perhaps even knowledge or maybe instinct that you have on this. You genuinely make me look at this breed of watches in a totally different way. Thank you, keep this up
The 34mm vintage Rolex and Tudors are really interesting I got a Tudor ref. 7965 Oyster-Prince on the original riveted bracelet, it is a wonderful watch and it does not wear like a 34mm watch. It wears larger thanks to the design of it and the bracelet makes lots of difference too! These are really under valued and I think they will go up in value a lot!
My dad had a 2 tone Rolex Datejust with the roman numerals almost identical to that one that he got when I was 6 years old. He wore it constantly and I always think of him whenever I see one. Before he died in 2009 he gave it to his dad, who died a couple years later. I'm not sure where the watch ended up. If I ever buy a Rolex it will be that one, just for the memories.

Beautiful stuff, as usual. Usually not a two tone fan but that white dial really compliments the rest of the watch and makes the gold more subtle than the typical gold dial ones you see. Stunner!

The only rule is buy what you love, wear what makes you happy and don’t be anything other than yourself. Nice classic bimmer and nice classic wrist watches. A dress watch is certainly not as out of place while wearing shorts and a tee than a Casio with a suit.
