This really worked after some frustrating hours yesterday! They updated and renewed the network where I live but my Mac refused to let me login to my new wiredless network. It did not ask for the password so it felt like I was blocked from my own network. Strange I thought as there were no issues when I used my iPhone, iPad, Smart-tv etc. Finally I found this video and after following your instructions I am so happy to say it solved the problem! You deserve a medal for this, mate! Cheers!!!
It really works for me. I am using 16 MBP, and purchased an adopter to connect HDMI. Buying a new one won't be an easy solution, even not guarantee that the new one works fine. Sometimes the issue is due to the setting. I just removed all saved connections and renewed DHCP lease. I made exactly the same all checked as in the video at 1:10.
This is so legit... My mac was continuously getting disconnected after every 3 mins or smtg and I had to go on connecting it .. my videos used to suddenly start buffering ... but I did this .. followed all the steps n it worked. Just restart ur laptop after u do this :)
my computer has been running slow for over 2 years and I thought it was bc of storage issues, this just made it run so much faster and my connection issues are gone. THANK YOU

Tks tried for months to solve this problem. Tried all your suggestions and finally disconnected WIFI and used Ethernet connection only, This seems to have done the trick as immediate improvement.

There is something wrong with this 2020 macbook pro. About every 5 miutes, I lose all network I/O for about 10 seconds. I have like 5 other devices on the same wifi network none have issues. I've already restored the macbook to factory settings. Any ideas?

thank you!! all you have to do is delete your network you have problems with from the advanced wifi menu and u dont have to delete the rest and no need to use keychain access

There is no download button eight in App Store or when I’ve opened download page directly from web. Literally don’t know what to do 🥺
Your instructions are super clear, you speak slowly not in a rush. Your mouse moves to where it should without going round the screen for a Victory lap each time a word is used…AHIIII you did so many things right you could have a YOU TUBE on how to give Instructions!
I think people who do the circle thing are long-time Mac users who got into the habit of doing that to prevent their computer for going to sleep, hah hah.

Hopefully this helps, I'm having this issue with the latest Ventura 13.2.1 update. I got a new gateway that is sending like 500mbps to all my devices and the MacBook is the only one with intermittent disconnection issues. I'm using the same network name and password as with my prior gateway so I don't know if there's like a cache that's messing with the wifi because it keeps trying to connect to the old gateway or something.
this sadly didn’t work. My MacBook connects to any other wifi but the one at the house. I’m not sure why my sisters also use the wifi from the house on their Macs and it works but it doesn’t work with mine only. I’m not sure why. I turn off the router and it works for a while but then later it stops working. Do you know why?

Might you have any ideea what to do if I have one of those crappy unsecured networks? it works on my iphone and macbook but on my imac it keeps disconnecting for like a second and then connect back(sometims it doesn't reconnect automatically and then it becomes really annoying cause it stops everything and i have to do it manually). I tried reseting, restarting, etc, nothing works so far

What is causing this issue? I just got mine two months ago and this problem started just out of nowhere and i never dropped my mac or anything like that. Is it the software update or could it be the hardware?
My issue is that the “Turn Wi-Fi On/Off” button is broken. I go to click it ON and in a millisecond it just reverts to OFF I must be having a whole other issue here. I restarted it and that didn’t help. It’s a 2012 MacBook Pro running OS Catalina 10.15.7

You just need to remove the energy save settings you are deleting the people wifi that they have already stored. Remove that step

This has to be something to do with latest Mac o.s. updates. Does not occur on any other device on network (all non macs)

Yep, that did it. The Catalina upgrade I did two days ago just went and damaged my wifi specifications. This resolved my issues, thanks a million!

Kinda similar here, but for me it disconnects about every 20 seconds for 5 to 60 seconds 😭

I just bought WiFi band in the end and replaced it with new. This fixed my problem. There is a tutorial on TH-cam on how to replace.👍
