You prolly dont give a damn but does someone know a way to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my password. I would love any tips you can give me!
@Caspian Victor I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
This will be my 30th year of visiting Rhodes, I love the island and the people. I have never had a bad holiday here in all this time, and all thanks to the amazing Greek hospitality. Now looking forward to May 2020 to see everyone again ;-)
Tip #1: get a SIM card (which can only be found in cellular shops, like Vodafone). We paid €25 for 8gb, 100 minutes. It was worth it especially if you’re exploring the island or take a day trip to other smaller islands. Tip #2: Rent a car. On the map it may seem far (especially if you don’t have a car), but Lindos is just over an hour away from Rhodes & there’s plenty to do and see along the way. Tip #3: Take a trip to Chalki. Absolutely stunning smaller island. Tip #4: Buy a snorkel & goggles. With the water so clear, you have to see life under the water. Tip #5: If you visit Lindos, you’d probably want to visit the acropolis, note there’s a €12 entrance fee before taking the hike up there. Some people got there and turned around because they didn’t expect to pay for entrance. Last tip: if you love good food, you have to eat at Le Gourmet, Kerasma & Piatakia. Good luck getting into Tamam (that’s if you don’t mind waiting; they normally have a queue of at least 5 people). Fun fact: you’re not allowed (well, requested not) to put toilet paper in the toilet.
Hey! Thank you so much for sharing this video! We are leaving for Rhodes in 13 days, and now I can let my shoulders down about being a vegetarian over there! Thank you so much for an amazing video over all
We were there two weeks ago and it's every bit as amazing as it looks. One suggestion I might add is to take the ferry to Symi for the day from Rhodes Town. Symi is simply the most gorgeous little harbor town I have ever seen. We got the best pics of the trip in Symi. Look for Dino's Sponge shop and get some homemade soaps and natural sea sponges.
I am going to fly to Rhodes with my mom in 3 weeks. After movie I am so excited. :D Girl is really great, cute and cool. Thanks for this short guide. :)
Very good work...in 10 min video you guys presented more true information than other traveling videos in 1 hour. If you ever come back again...check the Agathi beach with golden sand, charaki, tsampika monastery view is magnificent and the beach of tsampika...seven springs is simillar to buterfly valley and you Must visit "piges Kalithèas" before Faliraki. Prasonisi also in the south part of the island...Monolithos...and much much more. Keep up the good work and that awesome presentation... Much love from the Fire station of Lindos! We are definitely following you guys...
Best Island I have been to. Nice people, great food, great bakers, best beaches. You can find kosher and halal food both in the old town, however limited. Cheaper than most of the European cities.
when you want to eat Gyros(a good one of course) find a place with lots of Greeks, its the best way to enjoy a proper gyros. its a rule of thumb when you are traveling, go to places with locals, they know where they can eat good, so trust them! of course for all tourists, when you go in Greece, try to drink Frappe or Freddo Espresso/Freddo Cappuccino, Greece is too hot for a hot coffee, try our iced coffees and you will never regret it!
I lived there for 4½ years, am from Kenya but the sun was way too hot for me. But Rhodes is a beautiful Island. Currently living in Germany and i miss the sunshine 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@princesarfo3722 Everyone coming from turkey must have a valid passport, if you are from outside the EU , some country's need a visa, such as Russia, but check with your local government.
Basically nothing much to do, but not expensive either. Was looking at thid because flights started. If they have nice supermarkets, probably will explore
Wow! I really appreciate the video and all the great advice! Great video editing and I can't wait to go. I'll be there in Three weeks.. anything special to know?
Hi India.. have been watching your Vids with the the Holiday Extra Sales crew for a bit. And have thought on many occasion..when will this smart charismatic lady ditch them for a HD cam, Gopro and airmiles... This one confirmed it. Love your style and you need to start your own TH-cam travel channel an ditch the static, scripted nonsense.
If anyone goes to Rhodes near old town the absolute best gyro is a place called Steki it is around the corner from Nike. You have to order it with their sauce it's absolutely incredible. Not far from there is a spot in the 100 stores area "english" translation btw. They have a spot called Auvgustinos amazing Doneir with yogurt and chili sauce is out of bounds. Across the street is a great philly cheesesteak spot as well. Now If you want a great sit down spot the mint onion in English as well lol is a friend of mines restaurant amazing meats. My cousin who is a local on the island and me have been addicted to an Italian spot owned by another friend called Corre Di mama. The bread balls with homemade garlic butter and real deal carbonara..no need to go to Italy If you want a fantastic burger there is a spot called Boston Burger and right across the alley is my favorite pizza spot on the island and best neapolitan style i have ever had in my life. Now if you want the HANDS DOWN BEST steak of your lives..it is a bit pricey but so worth it try El Toro. It is literal heaven for carnivores like myself. Now for deserts it's a no brainer the Turku as they say it is a family ran pastry shop/ ice cream that is to die for. My favorite desert is Muhalibi..i butchered it but ya its a very unique custard that just melts in your mouth..I have been visiting family almost every year since i was 15 so i have tried alot of spots still some great ones i left out..hope this helps
Nice video. Where would you recommend a couple with a young child aged 2. We don’t want to be in a sleepy area. Want lots of places with restaurants as we like eating out each night
Hey, was just wondering - how much of the above (i.e. visiting the beach you mentioned) is possible in a one day trip from Marmaris? With the time constraints and alternative transport options (I don't think we'd hire a car in a one day trip 😁) would it be possible to do a decent amount of things? Thanks
Mindaugas Kvietkauskas It depends on what you plan on doing there. The buses are cheap and run to all the major places you would want to go, but they don’t run on time. They’re either late or early and that changes from day to day. We rented a car for one day just to go to the southernmost beach. Other than than walking and the bus will get you where you want to go.
It's an interesting one! The busses are very good to get around but if you have your car you can explore little beaches which you may have never been able to find! 🏖 So the decision is yours! 😁
