One thing I like about Nissan Cvt’s is basically the option to have it hold one ratio or simulate. Nissan must know people like to race from stop lights lol. 😅
My 2022 Nissan Kicks (purchased 9/13/2022) has LED lights underneath the car (when getting in/out) and it's just a plain model with also a remote garage rearview mirror. Yet I see why the Critics says that this particular car doesn't takes off fast etc, cause the RPM seems to stay at '2' when going at least 60-65 miles an hour. It's still all good though, way less traffic tickets ... 🎫 😊
I own one just like the one in the video even the same Boulder Gray Pearl color. Mine however has the Titanium and Grey 2 tone alloy wheels which I preferred and had the choice of either. Mine is a 2023 Nissan Kicks SR with the Premium Package. I bought it new in October 2023. The LED headlights are great. For some reason this video makes them look dim and weaker but I believe it is just the video. Mines the exact same. Also this SR trim has LED fog lights standard which he did not have on as the green fog light icon would be on beside the green headlight icon on the speedometer and only 1 green icon was on. The LED fog lights really light up in front of the CUV really good and off to the sides. Also he did not have the auto high beams on or there would be another green icon one. When you have on the headlight, fog lights and auto high beams there are 3 green icons on the speedometer. The high beams are super bright and have a far range. Overall I give the LED headlights and LED fog lights on the 2021-2024 Kicks SR an A+ rating!
so, how does this differ from the BMW 230i? positives and negatives ? where does the Nissan lose out and is there a way to improve it...or is it just a bottom barrel throw-away car for people who need transportation but don't intend on keeping it long term (i.e. 7+ years)? Do I need to aak this question on The Topher channel instead where "he" actually speaks?
@@64Spokes valid question. he drove a BMW 230i (fwd) car in another video and I want to hear his comparison btwn the two. The kicks is an entry level Nissan in SR spec. No, the two cars don't compete on the price sheet, but they are both entry level somethings. Other than the 'BWM' being from a lux brand, which one is the car to own and keep. The previous commentors had nothing the say or ask and doesn't anyone want to know thoughtts after he's driven the car? The other channel does the review part (speaks), so I'll go there and ask...

@@64Spokes...thanks, I figured as much. I'd lease the 'bmw' too, if I were so inclined to find myself in one. you don't have to worry about me leasing or being in any current Nissan. But, if this channel (topher/tedward) is not going to provide feedback on the cars they (pov) drive, then maybe they should just disable comments and leave the comments for the other channels they have. 👍
Can’t go wrong with either, if you get the Altima I’d say aim for a 2.0Vc-Turbo because they’re quicker than the Maxima. Only downside is they don’t offer it on the platinum trim level anymore so you’ll lose out on some features like (leather seats, dual power seats, Bose, dimming mirror, and pro-pilot assist) other than that the SR does come with lots of good safety features, sunroof, and heated seats.

As a daily car, is hard to find something like that. Reliable, super economic and i believe the Nissan warranty is 6/70.000.
nissans are not reliable vehicles.
Honestly my only real dislike of cvt is the lawn mower engine sound, otherwise that car is a fuel economy champ
