- This restroom was filmed at the same building as the last video. The fixtures are: 1 Briggs women’s urinal, 2 1970’s AS Cadets on flushometer (used as urinals), 1 1960’s Briggs Carlton, 1 1960’s-70’s Eljer Sanus, and 1 1988-93 Kohler Wellcomme. This may very well be the weirdest restroom I have ever filmed. Doesn’t make it any less epic however!! Rating: 18/10

This is extremely weird but so cool at the same time. Especially those 2 cadets being used as urinals. Still if I were there, I would have taken the urinal screens out of them and the briggs urinal as well. All the fixtures here are amazing nevertheless!!!!!!!!!

I filmed a bathroom with a Briggs feminine urinal back in 2014. It got replaced during a renovation, although the 1960s Briggs toilets were spared. What a spectacular gem of a find!

This is the most GOOFY AHH RESTROOM IVE EVER SEEN! The toilets have urinal cakes!!!
They have the screens only. Any deodorant blocks that get put in there with them can get lodged in the trapway as they are non dissolvable.
The cadets could also serve as "open" toilets when the other 2 stalls are still in use though I think, what a ridiculous configuration for the urinals! 😆

Reminds me of something. When I was little, I went to a Laurie Berkiner show. And the men’s room had a Kohler highcrest as a urinal with no seat. And a maybrook right next to I think. I don’t remember but my parents would.
I would have taken the screens out of the cadets and the Briggs. No real need for those to be there anyway. Real nice bathroom 😊

Satire Restroom. It is very crazy that 2 Toilets from the 70s would be used as Urinals since the pedestal Urinals were no longer relevant. I’m guessing the American Standard Pedestal Urinal was also discontinued at the time. Unusual but it’s also creative at the same time.
Oh God! Why?!? I don't get it! There is a women's urinal in the men's restroom and there were urinal cakes in the toilets!! That was driving me nuts!

My weirdest bathrooms are at some of the school sites I have worked at.
1. One elementary school has a standalone staff lounge/speech building. There are two bathrooms. One for students and the other for staff. Judging by the marks of the previous signs (yes, California has the meaningless bathroom bill), the student restroom was formerly the male restroom, whereas the staff restroom was the female restroom. It's weird to have two toilets without a stall divider.
2. Three of the schools have a staff bathroom in the main office which is just as tight as an airplane restroom. Two of them require a staff key, whilst one of them was open. Additional bathrooms could be available across campus.
a. One school, the nurse's office was more roomier than the office bathroom.
b. At the second school, additional staff restrooms were available in the bungalows and past the teacher's lounge.
c. Third school, the cafeteria restroom was more roomier than in the office. For some reason, the notice on one of the bathroom doors tell "adults or parents with small children to use the main office, even though the cafeteria restroom is more accessible". Plus, in the 4th and 5th grade hall (a new construction), as well as Kindergarden row, the staff bathroom is much, much bigger.

The toilets being used as urinals are from the 1970’s. Since the original pedestal urinals broke when they were discontinued, they had to improvise with replacements.

I've seen it in all 3 bowl sizes. A couple of which said Crane, not Briggs. In fact they even had tank versions of those toilets.

Oh my God , this is so funny that they would use toilets as urinals lol . I've never seen anything crazy like this . But the only craziest bathroom thing I've seen was 2 toilets in one stall at emery park in Wales NY , but I obviously know why it was like that at that park . But anyways everything in this bathroom is still amazing .
Interesting setup and the 2 1975-1979 American Standard Cadet on Flushometer toilets are replacements to the other 2 Briggs Women's urinals. I guess this was the Women's restroom and it was converted to the Men's restroom and the Men are using the Briggs Women's urinal. The 1970s Eljer Sanus, 1990s Kohler Wellcomme Waterguard toilets are replacements to the 1960s Briggs toilets in the 1970s-1990s over time.
How common are women's urinals?
@@MisterMikeTexas Not very common and very rare. Universities has them in the Women's restroom. I saw one and used one in the dorm bathroom when I was 11 or 12 in 1990. They are converting the Womens Restrooms into Men's Restrooms and still using the Women's urinals for the Men to use. Many plumbing companies like American Standard, Kohler, and Eljer has discontinuing them in the mid 1970s.
Besides the Goofy Ahh design, the toilets have some awesome flushes, especially that Powerful Wellcomme.
That carlton though, is amazing

This is one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. Toilets for urinals? They could have chosen actual pedestal urinals, as they were still made in the 70s. And why even bother with the urinal cakes since they are toilets anyway? To discourage people from flushing things down them I suppose.
Pedastol urinals weren't sold past '75 and I guess the replacement was after 1975
They don’t use pedestal urinals. I think it’s a better idea to put just toilets with stall doors. No need to put urinals.
It would be easier just to replace rather than renovate plus it would have killed the women's urinal

The cadets toilets used as urinals are probably used as actual toilets, but it seems that they removed their respective stalls and just kinda skipped the budget of buying urinals and use the toilets as urinals lol. The Briggs urinal probably it used to have its own stall so women could use the urinal. Weird way to convert a women restroom to a men restroom 😂

Some urnals like the first toilet shown (that was an actual urnal) some urnals don’t need urnal cakes bc the trapway is real big and also not every urnal has to have a urnal cake but this bathrooms actual urnal couldn’t fit a urnal cake lol
