"You Can't Hurry Love" is a 1966 song originally recorded by The Supremes on the Motown label.
Written and produced by Motown production team Holland-Dozier-Holland, the song topped the United States Billboard pop singles chart, made the UK top five, and made the top 10 in the Australian Singles Chart. It was released and peaked in late summer and early autumn in 1966. Sixteen years later, it would become a number-one hit in the UK when Phil Collins re-recorded the song. It reached number one on the UK Singles Chart for two weeks beginning in January 1983 and reached number 10 on the US Singles Chart that same month.
Billboard named the song number 19 on their list of 100 Greatest Girl Group Songs of All Time.The BBC ranked "You Can't Hurry Love" at number 16 on the The Top 100 Digital Motown Chart, which is based solely on all time UK downloads and streams of Motown releases.

EXCELLENT. great vocals, perfect harmonies. this is their best for stage performance. the music has punch and life. the costumes are striking and feminine. dare I say this is better than the real supremes? I came across this out of the blue, but very happy I did, and am now a fan. these ladies are an inspiration. I cannot find info or bios, no web page? their 'one fine day' is excellent too. [edit]... I just learned the group disbanded in 1915 ! a loss to the music world, truly.

@@kenglatzer7359 I think she is of the 2nd generation of this three generation group. Most or all of the other women are of the third generation (grand daughters of the founder). I hope someone will add to this or correct it.

@@MichaelSmith-gq2rl There are two lead singers -- Rox (left) and Cheryl. Cheryl's older sister Jeanine is on the far right. Rox is a daughter of Tammy, who is next to Jeanine. All are very talented.

The founder, financier and manager of the group, Doyle, is IMO not at all terrible. He sings a wide variety of songs, carries the tunes well, is on pitch and has good rhythm and timing. One cannot expect a non-professional to master all the great varieties of songs the group performs and sing all of them as well (or better) than the original professional artists.
Just to be able to get six dresses together let alone the choreography together is quite impressive. 🥸
