I'm afraid not. I've read posts on social media and even seen comments during the race wishing something to happened so Lando couldn't win.
@@LuisRdzG10wonder why. If anyone got there first race win no matter what I’d be happy for them even if they aren’t one of my favourites. A lot of people would hate if Lance won but I’d still be so happy for him.

did you know that its so shallow, that the seaguls come and eat all the fish because they have nowhere to hide? Except the big fish, which make more little fish.

I've been a formula 1 fan since the mid 90s, and it still surprises me how many people it takes to get 2 cars around a racetrack. I'm sure there are some employees there from the road car part of McLaren too, but still, look at all those people!!

I am so happy that he is so celebrated and loved by McLaren. He seems the most loved out of all the drivers in the current grid
when i worked there, he was. but people dont bother him like fans do. they repsect him enough to leave him alone so he feels comfortable around there. its nice

@@zeetack8625 yeah I worked there. I used to walk up the Boulevard everyday to get lunch, in canteen. That path is right next to the windows. You can see the depth. There are round pilons too which are lights, looks nice at night. You can see the fish. But what's crazy is the fish have nowhere to hide and the seaguls constantly diving and eating all the fish. Also on the windows theres so many spiders. I dont know where they come from. They periodically get cleaned off, because its not a great look for the visitors. I once saw David beckham getting a tour, he's super short and seemed to be trying to be stealthy. I seen Lando eating his breakfast once, I didnt bother him. I also said hello to Danny R who was waiting at the counter for breakfast, My favorite 2 cars on the boulevard were the orange Senna LM, and the orange F1 LM, or the MP4-4 F1 racing car, (which I remember as a kid playing Grand Prix Circuit on the PC). The MPC is nice place to work. Used to sometimes go into the factory too, nice seeing all the cars at their different stages in the production lanes. I used to work in a -1 floor, no windows down there. Its a mix of maintanance areas, but a lot of proper office spaces too. In the -1 floor was a Gym too. I signed up and used to take a swim at lunch time. That was nice. Only 3 lanes, but it was alright. There wasnt enough parking for everyone, so most have to take a 15 minute minivan ride to town center. That sucked :D During covid though I was requied worker. Felt like being in a ghost town. But I got to park at least.

@@zeetack8625 no because I was considered external. I worked there 5 days a week but I was employeed by a 3rd party company. But the staff there did apparently. I cant remember, I think it was like 20% to 30% off or something

This sums up mclaren for me, celebrating one win, first in years. I’m they hay day, they wouldn’t of celebrated this, it’s one win. We need more, and be in contention every week.
Shame to see mclaren in this position. Take nothing from lando, and his win, but the state of mclaren is a shame.

With the amount of roadworks in Woking at the moment I’m surprised he could even get there! 😁 Great win though, great team effort!!
I used to not like Lando that much. When he finished a race, or qually several years ago, and said something like "that's what you call talent", it really rubbed me the wrong way. However I think that came down to maturity, and over the past few years, he has been a joy to watch, and listen to in interviews. So glad to see him finally win a race, and I hope it's not the last one.
Well, that was an unexpected surprise. I never would have envisaged the Artura to have made it around the lake without breaking down!
It took 50 tries, but they finally got a shot where it didn't stall.

yeah the vip road looks amazing. i went round it once and the view is incredible. I also used to walk through the fields behind, which is public area called mclaren park. makes a good background

Either lando or oscar would have won the race. The safety car helped lando win which was very good luck for him and the team. Oscar's win will come.

Delighted for Lando and McLaren. But he did not "return the trophy back to Woking." That would mean he took it away from Woking. He is simply bringing it home to Woking. F1 and McLaren comms needs to set the example of what World class looks like.
